I'm with trackehs800 on this one... DB just recently came in 5th in the trailblazer race behind etown, daniel boon, abington, and patrick henry. And they came in 4th in their conference meet. If you are posting anything at all about DB is should be about how they arent carrying on a tradition. Such a big school should do better.

sry about my previous post i saw that page actually has 3 men under 17:30 with peter coulsin running a 17:29.

etowns numer 5 man ran a 17:31 on thursday but the fact about that race was that there was no competition. Etown finished 1,2,4,5,6,7,8 in that race. However in the race before that the number 5 man ran a 17:34 on daniel boone's course which is said to be the toughest course in the state. By lookin at the stats on the other teams (FRA, Page, and CCS) the main competition seams to be between etown FRA and Page. Everyone is talkin about CCS however i have yet to see any impressive stats on them. Page has an amazing runner in Joseph Pair, who runs well under the 16's, but by lookin at tennessee runner i only see one other Page runner under 17:30. FRA's times look very dominating with 5 to 6 men under 17:30. Etown has 4 men uner 17:30 and one only a second away and the one man now running under 16. So by looking at all of these times it is almost impossible to predict the outcome, it should be a great race at state.

Where has ccs been racing...cant remember if they where at TN classic..sorry but i dont think page is deep enough for a state title

Elizabethton will be there come state count on it with their team in full health now..they are not even close to peaking..slow start to season for EHS but being from the east i can tell you they are better than a team only supported by 1 runner when elizabethton could be looking at a 1,2 finish with adam green and josh jaynes.

i agree.boone u take that hill twice...and its not just some easy upgrade its steep and long..

After traveling out west TN this past weekend and seeing some times from west tn's best who else agrees that courses are just a little tougher here in the east...with more hills and upgrades...if u've raced in east tn u kno u dont escape a cousre without atleast 1 large hill..percy warner is relatively flat compaired to eastern courses...not trying to beef just wondering if im the only one who thinks that

single A is the same division as AA in cross country.....and boone is better than db but im not dissin dobyns bennet does have a good team..elizabethton is strong representative for a/aa in the region..not sure how FRA and lipscomb look this year..and central last years fourth place has moved to AAA

i believe under houston individual champions there should be a 2004 win chalked up..

FRA easy...CAK is only team in a/aa who will step up in beating them..unless livingston academy...i watched them play..they are tough...they played oak ridge i belive but good luck to all teams...

Gkbd...you must not realize that a team could come into a game a little to confident if the other players arent all their....its obvious that a graduate of that program would get on here and try to get the competition to believe something like that ...it may be tru it may not...but he wouldt tell ice who it was so that sparked my curiosity

lcsoccer...are you trying to make the elizabethton players over confident or is this a true fact that these players have been kciked off..either way im guessing the cyclones will be ready to play a team that is fully equiped with their horses..lc has the advantage of braggin rights...but dont count out elizabethton out as a dark horse....good luck to both teams

I think Tara Byrne is the best senior. Ali Beaver (the sister of Amy) is a fairly good upcomer.

For anyone who doesn't know, John Hereford was beat in regionl finals by Science Hills 8th grade sensation Chris Smith. So Hereford wont be winning individuals this year.

Tonight elizabethton defeated pigeon forge 2-1 they went down 1-0 with 20 to go ...then they rallied back to defeat the tigers in the last 15..anyone kno who will be traveling to elizabethton saturday...CAK OR LC
