A big thank you to the moderators of this board for taking care of the problem posters, and they were from both schools. Let's all work together to keep this thread as positive as we can. Should be a good game. By the way, I played against a linebacker everyone from Unaka called Bubba in 1970. Anyone know what became of him?

Not easy to compare these two teams. Not much to go on with not many common oponents. It was stated that Cloudlands weak schedule was what killed them last year. I question Unaka's schedule strength this year and wonder how it will affect them. Will CHS's strong schedule help CHS or will they be so bruised up that it has weakened them? We will have the answers Friday night. By the way, Oakdale had a hard time with Cosby, Unaka beat up on Cosby, Unaka had a hard time with Oakdale. Can't learn much from this.

Unaka used a killer schedule in basketball to win the state. This Friday we will see whether the difference in schedules will make a difference between these two teams. Cloudland has played a rough one and, in my opinion with no insult intended, Unaka has played a weak one. It looks to be a good game.

There is just as much "kid bashing" here as "coach bashing". I think this needs to close. ML is gone and we need to leave it alone. IMO.

All you Cloudland fans remember this guy. He reported in the Star and covered Cloudland football. You even had him speak at the rally before you went to the 'boro. What do you think of TB now?

The late Donnie Tipton could throw the ball like a dart for 30 yards. One of the best people you could have ever known. I still miss him.

Heard from a retired teacher from Cloudland that Keith had open heart surgery and is in pain and weak. Prayers to him and his family, please?
