It was mentioned earlier that WC beat Ridgeway in SUMMER LEAGUE... SUMMER LEAGUE is the key word hear. Ridgeway will of course be the favor to win, not taking away from Wilson Central. WC struggled with Whites Creek,I'm not sure they can handle Ridgeway. Pierre Niles will be a force to be reckoned with. Mincy is the most underrated pg in the state. Keeps team together.

I heard that the Haywood/MLK game was a real good one and it went down to the wire. Even though MLK won, I wouldn't consider this an upset. This was a game between 2 very good teams and the game that was played was expected: a good, slowed game. MLK took advantage of the slow game and Haywood couldn't answer. What do you all think was Haywood's downfall?

I believe this year's AA State Tournament is going to be the toughest that i've seen in a while. It seems to me that the favorites for the state title are Haywood and Bolivar Central. Let me know who is your favorite to go all the way Panther

It's a done deal.... Jackson North Side vs. Ridgeway in the AAA State Championship.... It's a toss up for the win..... For all mid-state bball fans, UPN is showing all state championship games. From A 2 AAA...... Finally, basketball is getting some t.v. time.....

Haywood is the "dark horse" of the AA tournament. I think Haywood has enough to win the state tournament. With Singleton and Varnando, how can they be stopped? I want to see Haywood v. Bolivar Central III. I want to know who got enough to pull it off. Panther

One question that I have is that if you do back out of your national letter of intent, can you be allowed to attend prep school? But it does say that if you sign the NLI, then you must participate with the university. If you decide to back out, you can lose one year of college eligibility.

I'm looking forward to seeing Haywood v. MLK in the AA State Tournament Thursday. But, what i'm looking forward to more is a possibe re-match between Haywood & Bolivar Central. In my opinion, the winner of this game goes on to win the state championship in Class AA. Expect Haywood to make some noise and win the state and knock Bolivar Central off the throne.
