    PARSONS RIVERSIDE

Chandler will pitch today....he's got some really good offspeed junk and can blow one by you too...Riverside looked good even though they had a hard time catching up with Markham's fastball...I would love for one of us to give Milan and Lexington a run for their money this year.
  2. Even though I am a neighbor from across the way I've watched this young man play ball for along time and can't be prouder for him, Coach Rawlings and all the Tiger faithful to hear that he has accepted a full ride to play PG at Freed-Hardeman!...I hope they realize how lucky they are to get Ricco...good luck now and in the future!
  3. we'll be headed that way early tomorrow....see you then!
  4. Is the weather supposed to improve for the tourney??....Are or will the fields be in good shape?
  5. Just wondering how the teams playing in the tourney are doing so far this year...Camden will be traveling to Roane County and we wondered what the competition will look like....thanks
  6. I think it was cancelled because Humphreys Co. schools are out due to the flu and then they have spring break after next week so they are out until April 4th...I wonder if they'll be able to play any of their games that are scheduled for next week?
  7. You obviously haven't seen Bolivar play....they have more than 2 big men....if you think Reid will shut down Kemp you are dreaming....I'm pulling for Waverly but they are going to have to have the game of their lives and they need to hope Bolivar has an off day....not to diss Waverly but Bolivar has too many guns in their arsenal...too much height and W. Kemp is a very SMART PG....all he has to do is put the ball in the air and O. Kemp or Chism will be able to pull it in no problem....Waverly fans haven't seen a team like this one because the way Bolivar is playing now Bolivar would kill Northside by as many points as they wanted.....Good Luck to Waverly but lets keep this in perspective....you got this far....you should be very very proud!
  8. Good luck to the Big Blue in this one cause whomever travels to Bolivar will not have the welcoming committee meeting them when they arrive in Bolivar....it'll be more like a train...a big train.....a big fast train ....and there won't be light at the end of that tunnel
  9. It said "No. 1 is Daddy's Little Girl".....it was funny ...but I will give them their props they did dominate McNairy friday nite. BTW Milan and Camden scrimmaged Friday and they both looked thumb
  10. As bad as I hate to say this I believe Lexington will pull this one out....with the Tiger's fast paced game that offensive lineman- size post of humboldt's will really be sweatin before the half and will only be making it back to the half court line before he has turn back around again....but when the Tigers meet Bolivar they had better keep their keys in their pockets cause there won't be any chanting "start the bus" in this one!....Lexington has NO ONE to match up with O. Kemp and especially not Chism in the post and Willie is going to school Mack....hey did you guys go Friday??...did you see the sign McNairy was holding up???... too funny!
  11. Congrats to Milan....Since my Lady Lions took a tough loss from Chester co you gotta represent for district 11!....good luck in round 2!
  12. Jackson North Side is in district 13aaa region 7 with JCM, Dyersburg, Hardin co and someone else?....
  13. Congrats to the Lady Lions and Coach Roy Grant for winning the River Conference Championship last nite against Lakewood by a score of 37-26. We are so proud of this very talented group of young ladies!....the future is looking bright for our Lady Lions!...Keep up the hard work! thumb
  14. btowntigers it'll be nice to continue to have you around posting after regionals thumb ...but this guy will just continue to change his name WHEN the Lex-Tigers go down in Regionals (and they will go down)...I just wonder what name he'll come up with then? I think "LexTown-time-to-eat-some-crow-loser" has a nice ring to it don't you?...I mean anything is better than the Samurai or SteveNash thing!!
  15. With the Lions being an in-region rival beginning next year we hate to hear that Pullen is gone ...all kidding aside with Jammy and Dale as assistants half of the work is already done for whomever steps into the H.C. job....Jammy was absolutely amazing with our Jr. Lions with only 1 loss in 2 years and that was to a much larger school in the "Sorgrum Bowl" and Dale is a great person with a great offensive mind....good wishes to the new head coach and to Waverly cause I think this was a change that needed to happen a long time ago...look what a turn around happened with Camden when they finally got a head coach that could get the team all on the same page....I hope we have a great rivalry just like it used to be....maybe with a new coach that can begin again next year thumb
  16. Congrats to the tigers on the big win!..... Way to go shutting down Dotson! I think it took the Cheatham loss to get everyone re-focused and remember that DEFENSE wins games thumb ...good luck from here on out!
  17. Camden had no rebounds or assists???....hmmm I remember a different game then. ...but you did at least give Carney his 20 that matched ricco's 20....like I said I hope the defense tightens up a lot in the next few weeks.
  18. I have been pulling for the Tigers all year except of course when they have played my Lions!.....I want to wish them good luck but I also want to warn them that they are going to have to start playing a WHOLE game from here on out.....this game was a whole lot closer than it ever should have been....for a while I even thought that Camden could pull out the big upset and I think some Wav fans were beginning to wonder that too....Carney seemed to be able to score from the baseline at will and for the first half Waverly couldn't seem to shut-down the Camden offense with any consistency....I realize that this game meant little to the Tigers (except for pride) but they have to know that every team is going to be gunning for them from here on out....I would hate to see one of their district teams sneak a big "W" from the Tigers and the momentum change this late in the season....good luck and I hope to see that defense tighten up in the weeks before the tourney! thumb
  19. Oh really catfish and how would you know??...If I remember correctly the Milan baseball team is the defending state champs and the basketball team upset Lex last year to take the district championship.....nooooo nobody cares about any other sport but football in Milan ...why don't you go back and play in the 10aa thread and save your "two pennies worth" for someone who gives a darn.
  20. If strength of schedule doesn't mean anything then why are the big bad tigers not ranked with a 16-3 record...I mean the tigers didn't even get any votes!!....I'll tell you why...Strength of Schedule thats why!!....you gotta play the best to be the best!!...if you guys were really that great and your coach thought so too he would have tried to schedule games with Jackson Northside or Bolivar or even Waverly for that matter. That is why when it comes to the region tourney you will go down just like always......and before someone says it no Camden doesn't play a hard schedule either....but then again we are aware that our team has a ways to go and we aren't the one screaming our greatness from every treetop in West TN like someone else I know
  21. thumb ....and I think this year the Tigers will have a little more than they can handle from the Lions in baseball....I hear Markham is looking good and throwing the heat already!......see you guys at regionals, maybe we'll be nice and let you catch a ride on the bus home with us after the first round !
  22. no prob anytime! ...congrats to your team on the big Westview win!....wish my Lions were playing half as well but oh well there's always next season! thumb
  23. Its not all about Lexington! ...anyway this was started about the Mckenzie/Camden game played a week or so ago BEFORE Camden went to Lexington. Egos run rampant in this place I swear!
  24. Time will tell when regionals roll around ...By the way I will give props to the Lexington student section cause they are devoted...probably not too smart to chant about the refs being blind and deaf on every call though....hey ekard did ya catch the Camden/ Riverside game the other night...good game, bad refs, but still a good game.....and Puckett is a hoss ...he even looks like a lineman when he's playing basketball!!
