  1. Stanton is still at Springfield for his senior year....There was a player that left. Johnson left to go to Christian Community in White House. Don't know why he would decide to leave Springfield his senior year but he did.
  2. Most people that I know have one big scar on their knee from the surgery but Elrod did 2 cuts to where when i stand up, they blend in with my skin to where no one could really tell that I had surgery. Many people don't notice my scars from the surgery so....I don't think that the scars from Elrod are that big.
  3. He is with Baptist Hospital off of Charlotte Ave
  4. I will have to agree with most people. The mental part is hard to overcome. I tore my ACL my junior year of the basketball season. I had a few school looking at me for basketball but once I tore my ACL in my junior year, they all went away. I had a few small schools and juco schools looking at me but i had a better chance to go somewhere for track. I went that route and it's working out for the best for me. I still do wish i played basketball in college but track is still working out for me. I had my surgery with Dr. Burton Elrod, who is the team physician for the Titans. He did a wonderful job with my surgery and i did my rehab with his people at Baptist and everyone there was great. I had the worst experience without playing basketball for 6 months because it was my life but I think that the Lord had a plan for me tearing my ACL and for me being in the situation that I am in. I hope that everything works out for the best for you and I hope that you can come back next year and do very well with your senior bball season!
  5. Because Ryan don't actually have a football field so they use other surrounding schools football fields to play their home games. Thats why this game is played at Hillsboro.
  6. The last that I have heard was the he was playing for Tennessee Tigers but he might not be playing for them now.
  7. I have heard of Cory Stanton from Springfield. I have seen this kid play since he was a little kid and this kid is great. In his sophomore year, he lead his team in scoring with over 20 points a game. Think he could be a D1 player when he graduates and he actually has a few D1 schools looking at him already.
  8. Another pretty good PG is Cory Stanton from Springfield. In his sophomore season, he is scoring over 20 points a game. With him being a sophomore, he is leading his team like he is a senior. I believe people will be hearing his name over the next few years.
  9. I have to agree with ashjan44 on this one. As a player, it is one of the greatest atmosheres i have ever played in. The students sections are the greatest. But what I think is the best is that we get together as a community and just have a good time in an christian enviorment. I know that Thursday is going even better because Ryan's student section is going to be huge. But hopefully JPII will have a bigger section then Ryan.
  10. Hannah Brezie from JPII is a pretty good freshmen pitcher. She pitched 2 no-hitters in the first 2 games of the season. She has pitches that she made up on her own. If you ask me thats pretty for a freshmen. She's got a future in high school softball.
  11. There is a state tournament in springfield for middle school teams. It is held during the whole month of Feb.
