  1. This is the only place we can vent. Trying to get the adminstration at LC to see where the problem is falls on deaf ears. The players derseve better and they are not getting it with this coaching staff. Team is lacking experiece because they were not given a chance to play much over the last two years. Coaching staff has lost control and does not have the enegry and drive to do what needs to be done and that includes coach jabbo. I hope things gets better but I really dont see LC winning over one game this year. And venting on coacht doesn't fall on deaf ears? What good does it do? Well, besides make you feel better. And it isn't about you, I don't think.
  2. Wildcats have had a tough schedule. I thought Boles was the qb. Receiver. Davis is qb.
  3. After blow-outs one way or the other the last 2 years, I hope this year is a good game. No prediction, but should be close. It's been ugly the past three years, Tullahoma won by blowout at home twice (2006 and 2008) and Coffee County by a wide margin sandwiched in the middle in Manchester. I don't think that pattern of wide score differential will continue this year, though. Could be one of the classics, like 2003 and 2004.
  4. After watching the game last night I can say we do not have ANY horses on the Off or Def lines. The pioneers need to run a offense that does not require big strong or fast linemen. They have none. Better punt every play then.
  5. Coffee County wins 20-13. Good job. Now its time for the best week of the year, Coffee Pot time.
  6. Turned your program around You have won two games this year, against Coffee Co. who everybody agrees is down. and WC who is average at best. You went 3-7 last year 3-7 the year before that, (7-23 over the last four seasons.) So give everybody a break your team has proven nothing yet!! When you beat some solid teams then you can get on here and bragg! I guess you can say that i am what Wingman would call a newbe but you are too, so here is a little advice! Show some class act like you have won before I do agree that Shelbyville has not yet been tested and think this weekend Shelbyville will have its first test of the year. BY your post from above I would have to say that we have already turned the team around by only winning 7 games over the past two years, I bet Shelbyville matches that win total this season. Coach Hardy has done an outstanding job getting kids from different sports onto the football field and that has been the main reason Shelbyville has been down over the past years. All of our talent was either playing basketball or baseball and would not give Football the time. You will see this team has got some good athletes on it. This thread is about Coffee County and Warren County. Should be fun Friday night. I hope we don't catch like 5 homecomings like we did last year, start that counter tomorrow lol.
  7. Bradley Central won 21-0. Congrats to the Bears. Coffee County was very good again defensively. Offense still needs some work. Maybe things get on track next week.
  8. Dude, what is your deal? Shelbyville got a win last week, congratulations. You almost sound like you wanted CC to beat Shelbyville. It's over. We will see you next year. Meanwhile, CC had a pretty good day of practice yesterday. Hopefully that continues today.
  9. and what offense would that be? You know there are many variations of the wing-t, but without proper splits on the line no natural running lanes are created. Just my opinion...not an expert by any means. Offense averaged 4.5 yards per play last Friday. The line made plenty of room. The line didn't fumble the ball.
  10. Coffee County just fumbled 9 times and lost 7 of them in one game. Hard to pick either team to win this game. But, since I know very little about Bradley, would like some information. What kind of players? big, fast, small, slow, what kind of offense. Hope everybody has a safe trip Friday from Cleveland.
  11. Is their an injury report out of Shelbyville? Is everyone, especially impact starters, ready for this week?
  12. 35-14 Franklin County. And I'm not sure White County will even keep it that close. They won't be able to catch Martin.
  13. Doubt this will be an issue. Can't wait for Friday, though, should be fun.
  14. If you are going to watch the varsity scrimmage, that will be at the middle school, where the stadium is. You will use exit 111 and take a left. The school will be less than a quarter mile on your right. If you are going to watch the freshman, they will be on the practice field at the high school, I think. You will use the 111 for that also, turn left and go 2-3 miles and the high school will be on your left.
  15. It was ugly on both sides. Cooler heads and leadership were needed. Were you there?
  16. You should have handled MC rather easily. A little surprised you did not put up more points. Coffee Co. still has a ways to go offensively. There were some good moments, though, few nice gainers.
  17. Lincoln County should always be the favorite in this district, plain and simple.
  18. Tullahoma will indeed NOT host Blackman Aug. 21. The first game will be in Murfreesboro. It was originally slated for Tullahoma, but the game WILL BE moved to Blackman. Probably the best move, gives a few extra weeks to make sure everything is ready for sure at the new stadium. Look forward to seeing it.
  19. still wing-t and 5-2 defense. This mornings practice did not go well. It's early, though.
  20. Stats usually come from the coach. Sometimes from the writer that covers that team if he/she is a TSWA member.
  21. That is the TSWA list. There was a name on there in the wrong category, that usually happens when the list first comes out then it is corrected. As far as the players not included, it's really a matter of either making it to a big stage where a lot of writers's can see, or coaches marketing their players, mailing out stats to TSWA members and such.
