Whatever... I don't know whose posts you are reading but really Ryan fans are very abusive toward JP2 for some reason....why? You are one of them...TELL me why! I am perfectly willing to discuss the merits of both programs but you and others here are hostile toward JP2. I am only defending my school. My criticism of Ryan has merit. I do not need to explain myself to you or others. I have said that I think Ryan will go to the playoffs this year. Not good enough. I have applauded Lussier for his defensive genius. Not good enough. What do I need to do to make you happy fieldman? Being a Ryan fan I guess you would know about people putting a "whuppin' on you" in your own stadium. Oh that's right you don't have a stadium. Just like the Irish, the Knights will put on a fight to beat GP, and in the end we will be proud of our team because of the hard work and effort put forth. Statebound No problem. No offense to Franklin's football prowess, but the Irish will win this matchup. In fact if they keep improving we could see an all Catholic win for D2AA and AAA for the State Title (I know it's a little early to say that but if the Irish keep improving and the Knights can stay on track, the Diocese of Nashville will have a lot to celebrate come November).

I agree with hsfbfan. Franklin is not playing public. They are playing D2AAA team that has improved greatly since the Irish beat Franklin last year. The Irish may not score 35 but they will score at least 24 against a "stingy" Rebel defense and the Rebels may be hard pressed to score themselves against a stellar Irish defense. I don't like Lussier but the man can coach some defense. The Irish start the 2006 season 3-0 for the first time in forever. Go Irish!

There were alot of penalties against JP2 in the Webb game but some of those calls were really ticky tack calls by the refs. That's the way you win games though, play through the bad calls.

There's one thing about MBA, BA, and MUS, these teams don't have to talk too much because they prove it week in and week out. I agree with Bauber that Ryan has potential to win a few games this year and go to the playoffs but winning in D2AAA is hard to come by and Ryan has been in the basement a long time. I just think there is alot of hype about a couple of games and the meat of D2AAA is yet to be played. Confidence is good but overconfidence can kill. Champions don't have to talk big because they play big on the field consistently.

I have to go with JP2. Wesley Tate opens things up for Golden if he has a game like the one he had against Webb. Cat is managing the game better each week. We will be prepared this week for a good Goodpasture team.

Was this a home game for FCS? If so were the freshmen dressed? If the JV is doing this to a varsity team it is time to put the freshmen (or even the Junior high) team in.

Who cares if they become a powerhouse again this year? They have started the season 2-0. When was the last time Ryan started a season with 2 wins. Confidence is a great motivator. I think Ryan will definately make the post season this year. I am not a fan of Coach Lussier but I do respect his defensive coaching. Ryan's defense is goooooddd this year. Congratulations Irish on a great win, however, I think the more difficult D2 games are yet to come.

Sorry I have been out of touch I have been sick this week. But I'm baaaackkk! Great win for the Knights. Wesley was finely given an opportunity to take some pressure off of Golden. Wesley had 172 yards rushing and 2 TDs. A very complete game for JP2. A great rebound after the game changing mistakes we made last week.

After all of your scrutinizing of his academic record I don't think I would admit to that. But I guess you're right you aren't as intelligent as Golden. If you're right what does that say about Father Ryan? Hummmm You guys are worse winners than you are losers.
