cobb was questionable to play in this game..if u was there for pregame u woulda noticed the limp before the game even started...but he decided he wanted to play and played through the pain...im not sayin that smith didnt hit hard because they did...nothin against smith...but in all honesty AE was much tougher than smith and also much faster...again im not takin anything away from smith county but they werent the best we played last year...look forward to LA next year dont know too much about ubut cant wait...

no harsh feelins AEROADRUNNER just tryin to state my side of the story too...a wise coach(when i was younger) once told me dont count your chickens before they hatch and the same man also told me to worry about what my team is doin and not worry about who the other team is or what they do...if the TEAM works together and wants it more than the other team they will win...i think we can both use what i learned from him...why is this forum started? still over a month to game 1 the state is game 15...already predictin champs? its any ones game right now everyone is 0-0...no team is # 1 until that final whistle blows...

alcoa doesnt just have 6 players out there by themselves...like you said it takes 11 but i think alcoa plays well together as a team and a team is hard enough to beat...and sayin that the 4 teams would luck like cupcakes....hmmm....i think smith county mentioned that about fulton last year...was it close...oh wait maybe it was macon county 2 years ago...what was the score? oh yea 26-0...what was the final of the championship last year when we were predicted by many to lose 34-6...we were supposedly cupcakes to those teams too...not disrespectin any of the above teams mentioned just tryin to prove a point... i get out of school and go to pregame meal...i put my pads in my pants and strap my gear on...leavin only the helmet and shoulder pads off...i go to the team room and lay in the corner... with some fast paced music...rap rock whatever...lay there and relax..clear my mind...then strap on the rest of the gear..

i honestly doubt loudon can handle alcoa...loudon always fought us tough but alcoa is a very good team...just because there 2a doesnt mean there not as good as the 4a and 5a teams...good luck to u tho...ur still part of region 2-3a to me so id love to see u win...alcoa runs there mouth a lot...in all sports..i havent got that from the loudon folks...win it for me

i never once said i was doubtin the runners...in fact people on the streets are like ae lost everything...ull cake walk them this year...i dont like to hear that bc like us you guys just reload...i do think that you would have to agree that this years team wont be as good as last years... last years team was stacked...soles jackson mcalister harris minifield will all be tough to replace...but the thing is no 1 ever sees the guys behind them...in week 1 we will learn real quick how good both teams are... ok here is what i want to hear... i want scott county to quit talkin about beatin AE this early in the year bc its way too soon to call that...no 1 knows what either team is really gonna have next year... and livingston is a team that i have seen play once on film...one game is not enough to tell how good a team is... im def not doubtin yall u were in the what final 8 in the playoffs last year...and as for people talkin about the speed of region 2-3a most of that speed dwells with fulton and AE...the other teams are mostly country boys...they have some speed tho...im actually interested in how u all will do this year...ill get to see for my self up close and personal in week10...good luck in ur 1st 9 games...

i agree thats a big game... 2 games im waitin for 1. Fulton vs AE(classic rivalry between 2 very good teams) 2. Fulton vs Alcoa(havent met in a while but both teams return a lot players from the state championship teams they both had last year)

i would have to agree...riverdale is a great program and im sure they work hard...but ive never been around a team that didnt work hard...ive spent countless days at camp with teams like rutledge and south doyle...teams who lately havent been very good but in camp they worked hard...nothin against tho 2programs because without yall what would camp be..i got nothin but respect for you guys...but as everyone else is sayin everyone wants to win so everyone works out hard

Kingston im glad u know soo much about fulton...ill give kingston credit i like playin against yall and think that yall will be ok this year...but sayin that all we have is 1 standout player...i think u got that all wrong... how about this 4 out of 5 offensive lineman are returning...the whole front 7 on defense is back...our fullback(cobb) returns and has 3-5 guys that can fill the loss of Jam and do a great job of it...im not sure now about the quarterback situation but im sure it will be taken care of...a few things i could mention but will save until other people bring em up...OHH how could i forget u left out Hamilton...id have to say hes prolly the best all around nose guard in tennessee..and by the way when has standout athletes won a championship...i thought team work did...we learned after starting 2-2 last year that its all about being a team...when u learn his ull win some games...

i got 2 rings and a state runner up...granted they are in football but i do believe that its all the same...i dont know how it is for yall but my soph year i focused on nothin but winnin state...this year i focused on just havin fun and didnt worry about winning as much...when u worry about winning state and dont worry about having fun, it makes the game a whole lot less enjoyable...i gotta with the halls people on this one and say that a 33-1 record does matter...by the way i was at the game tonight and thought it was a great game...

We cant leave out Tyrone Cobb. He has a great chance at goin D1. I think him and Hamilton are both goin D1.

I love how the alcoa fans and some of the maryville fans over look us. We didnt lose too much ourself. We lost jam(to be replaced by several younger players with loads of talent) elliot patton and mathews. There all in the secondary, but we have several talented sophmores(rogan, freeney) along with a few others who can step in and take control. The o-line returns 4 out of 5 and the defensive front 7 all come back. Fulton will be very talented and experienced. This game is going to come down to the defenses. and if i recall correctly only 1 team had over 100 yards rushing against us last year. Mr. Football himself(Roger Herndon, Greenbriar) cant say he did that along with Albert Harris of AE. The only player who can say that is the kid from Lenoir City. Lookin forward to a great game! All I ever see on any 2-3a forums for the past few years is you better watch out for scott this year, there workin really hard and they will take it to you. They always put there self in the playoffs, but never can back it up when it comes time to play. Im not bashin yall at all, but all you do is give people more of a reason to beat you. You rarely see a fulton player in on any post, but anything were scott is mentioned every player they have wants to raise cain. A few weeks ago i saw some players from scott talkin bout runnin over cobb and hamilton and that they were comin for them. Be prepared to eat those words bc were fed up with everything yall say on here. Do some talkin with your pads not your mouth! Your mouth doesnt win games.

From what i remember of that scrimmage it was 21-21. Last i checked thats a tie. How do they do math out there at alcoa. And it was a blowout. HAHAHAHA.
