  1. It was 0-0 at half... That added to the 2nd half excitement quite a bit.
  2. Ooltewah had a much better first half than their second. Missed a PK after a hand ball in Grace's box... And also had several chances that they just couldn't finish, as opposed to the second half which was a much more even game. But Grace didn't really have any chances in the 1st half like they did in the 2nd.
  3. Dunno, probably because it's our 2nd to last home game.
  4. Big game against Grace tomorrow night, 7 pm @ OHS. It's senior night for the Owls. Admission is free, and we'll also be taking up donations for the American Red Cross.
  5. Yeah, Kelly Dyer (St. Agnes) is a very good keeper.
  6. Yep.. Ooltewah beat Cookeville 4-1. I'm looking forward to the rematch against Notre Dame!!!
  7. I don't know, but they REALLY proved themselves tonight. Notre Dame didn't have a chance against the Ooltewah that played tonight, lol. I think once the OHS girls get into a groove they're amazing, but sometimes its very difficult for them to find that groove. Tonight it also helped that all of their key players were having excellent games.
  8. Ooltewah pounded Notre Dame 3 games to 0.
  9. Ooltewah plays Cookeville at 4 pm at CCS, if that helps.
  10. Yes, mjuhb, and it was quite humorous.
  11. The score tonight was something like Ooltewah 10 Central 0.
  12. OHS plays their first district game tonight at 5 pm against Central HS.
  13. I'm excited for the Grace/Ooltewah game (senior night! sept 13). I think it's going to be a really great game, just like last year.
  14. That Brentwood/Ooltewah match was amazing. I really enjoyed watching it. Especially the first game
  15. The ooltewah players will be very surprised by this one. I can't believe that score!
  16. I'm friends with a lot of those girls---trust me, they're ready!!! It is going to be an amazing match.
  17. I believe Ooltewah is playing at Bradley next Monday. If that's the case, I look forward to seeing a rematch. The Lady Owls will be 100% ready for revenge, I'm sure.
  18. Katy Ahrens, who played goalkeeper for Ooltewah in the second half of the '04 season, recently moved to the Memphis area. Why do you ask?
  19. Yes, the game was some time around 4:30 I think.
  20. Ooltewah had a LOT more heart and determination (and pent-up anger) during the Farragut game as opposed to the JP2 game... Ooltewah's defense worked VERY hard, you should see the number of shots Farragut took vs. the number of shots Ooltewah took... Something like 14 to 1. It would look like Farragut had them easily. I was the keeper for that game and I know for the entire 80 minutes our defense did not rest. But I think the difference between the two games was all mentality.
