The match between Hendersonville and Springfield was intense and hard fought. Losing 152 to injury really set the Commandos back a bit. Congrats to Springfield. As for the calling fo the matches, if you were there you know, just a little funny how this is becoming a more frequent occurence with a this ref... all well.

Yo do not have to wrestle in this if you have previously placed in an NHSCA Tournament.

Fargo 2nd round Bundy catches Adam Frey (dunno if u know the name). Bundy took him down in less than 15 seconds... the ofcourse got teched, He has gone into OT with 2 ranked wrestlers, and actually beat Win Magazines previous #10 Dalton Bullard ar Jr. Nationals. Bundy may not have beat'n alot of big names, but his improvement from last season-off season-this season is amazing, Manson has just kinda settled and stayed, improved, but not nearly as much as Bundy,

If I remember correctly, Bundy placed 2nd in a preseason national tournament in which Felix didn't even place in..... He placed the exact same as Manson in the Super 32, and placed two years in a row in the virginia beach national tourny in which Whitt Dunning didn't place at .... give the kid some credit.

I think the last time the wrestled was during Freestyle 2 years agoe.....before that in 8th grade. They have never wrestled Folkstyle in HS against each other, I'm sure they practiced together for Fargo, but thats all I know of.

I don't think they will have another chance to meet this year, but depending on how big he gets after season... who knows, but I would wrestle as low as I could for Sr. Nationals

Looking at a few scores, McCrosky wrestled a close match at Ryan to Joe Young, 6-4 I think. Manson beat Young in the state finals 7-4 last year. Bundy nearly Teched Young 12-0 at the Ryan Finals and has yet to be taken down and given up only one reversal from what I understand. I can't wait untill Senior Nationals, Manson may drop to 130 and we might get to see the match.

I think he just dislocated his elbow, not entirely sure.

Bundy got OW.... great run tournament, great food, awsome finals matches.

Well I think we should all take another look at the topic, "Who is the best overall wrestler in the state of TN" . .

No argument here, Coffee is a great athlete and a fair wrestler. The refrence to the national competition is to show how he can fare on that level. I've seen guys his size on the national level, alot bigger than he is, but they all had great technique. Noone can say coffee is not a great wrestler, he has proven that, but a great wrestler in TN-D2, no where else.

The national rankings are always good to make, but I've read names of ranked wrestlers Bundy has beat. Rankings are just estimations, Untill Sr. Nationals noone really knows. I have looked through the brackets and Bundy placed above W.I.N Magazines #16. (Sr.) Will Livingston, and lost in overtime to #20. (Sr) Adam Koballa. I can not wait untill Sr. Nationals.

My bad, I also forgot to mention, they placed in just about all of them. and top 15 at fargo, losing to people like Adam Frey, whom bundy took down in 15sec. . . . and then got teched....

I would say Coffee, had he done anything nationally. But He hasn't to my knowledge, Manson and Bundy tore it up in the off season, North Dakota, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio... theyve got some matches under their belt.

Tough tough decision, Both Manson and Bundy placed 7th at the Super32 tournament, a very tought tournament. However Manson is ranked nationally at 130, but is a 35lber, Only Senior Nationals will tell, Can't wait for the results on that one.

There should be a bunch of great matches, always are. I heard they were scaleing it down this year... how many teams will be attending?

Hendersonville didn't have a 103 pounder... and was out one starter.

I'll have to agree on Shane Turner, I've had the privilage of going through a week of practices he ran. I'll also have to go throw out Jason Bennett of Hendersonville, 180 degree turn from before he was there to when he started, 2nd year in he brought out a state champ and the program there has never been big untill his arrival, and it's only growing.

They definitly have a team, it's tought to tell how they are this year, I think it might be a rebuilding year for them, but they are never really having a down year,.

I saw that, I wonder why they didnt, I was looking foward to watching them wrestle.

Pretty dang accurate for the most part, yet only problem I can see is that Hendersonville placed quite a few spots higher than Notre Dame at Knoxville and that Clarksville recently beat Franklin.

It's was a close match... except that the 2 points scored were of him being cut away from bottom.. and he was almost stuck in the last 12 seconds of the match. Usary is a phenominal wrestler and I don't think Bundy would be as good as he is today if he had not lost last year in the finals, that gave him the push he needed to be great.
