Bradley Central only looses 3 seniors.

There season is over once again. They are all at the Bradley Wrestling Club now.

They faced each othe last year in Green's first season and lost to Watson. Huge improvement this year. Would have been a good match if they had met.

Tyler Green Lake Forest Middle record 21-3 with all three loses in Georgia to heavy weights. Unbeaten in Tennessee. Lake Forest Middle's season has already ended so you will have to see him in the tournaments the Bradley kids club are at. (Gordon Lee advanced tounament Sat 1-29

Bradley in a close one. What was the score last night?

Wrong as usual Soms. I'm a fan not a parent. But judging from all the parents reactions including Mr. Withrow, yes they were all proud of the way their kids wrestled. That includes the Cleveland parents. Just picked out the one wrestler from each team that I thought stepped up huge.

Both teams looked very good tonight. Two that stood out as stepping up were Tanner Withrow for BCHS and Jimbo Nichols for CHS. Congratulations to both teams for a hard fought match.

I know, I'm one of those parents. Just think the kids and the coaches should get the recognition. Moving mats, hauling kids, consessions, it's just part of being a parent these days.

Just to add to Texas's post, Lake Forest is the feeder school to Bradley. They have excellent coaches that believe in teaching the basics. They are currently 10-3 for the season only loosing 1 match in Tennessee and 2 in Georgia their first time out. Half their varsity is 6th & 7th graders who have been in the Bradley wrestling club for several years. Ocoee Middle wrestlers also go to Bradley since WV high school doesn't currently have a wrestling program. There are some very good wrestlers coming from Ocoee which again have been in the wrestling club. What does it take to have a succsesful program? 1. a good kids club teaching the basics to young kids. 2. good coaches at the middle school level improving basic skills 3. good coaches at the high school that hone skills and motivate.

John Allen not only wants to build football programs but character, integrity and confidence in young men. He is a great man of God and felt he was being led to BCHS. I think he will be a good fit with BCHS, the players, booster club and community. As far as salary is concerned, the board of education can only pay him what the pay scale for Bradley County allows. The rest was funded by friends and family of BCHS equal to his LFO salary. This in no way cost the school system more money. Yes a vehicle was donated to the booster club for the future coach to use if he chooses. No, it was not new but very nice. Everyone who has met him has nothing but praise for this man. I believe he will be the one to pull the players, school and community together and make BCHS competitive once again.

You forgot to mention that Lake Forest Middle finished 3rd and Ocoee Middle 4th. Both schools feed Bradley Central. That was only Lake Forest's 3rd loss of the season. Record 10-3
