Sore losers? I felt good with the JV score 35-8 at half and every kid including our freshmen getting into the game. And actually there is about a dozen who play other sports now on that JV team. And true, Bradley hasn't even moved the wrestling mats to the gym when McMinn visits lately. Takes longer to move them than the match last. McMinn is aweful in wrestling!!! sound familiar

The score was 40-0 Not as bad as it sounds. We had several freshmen and sophmores starting. The same goes for last week against WB. Since playoffs were out of reach, why not work on next year. I know JV games don't count but Bradley's JV team won over McMinn 42-20 and Bradley played the whole bench second half.

I wondered if that was the case when I saw the score. Same thing happened to Bradley up there last year. Luckily we were up by enough to secure the win. Anyone ever seen a reciever trip over his own feet with no defense within 5 yards and still get an interference call? I have now.

So region 1 has 7 and region 2 has 8. Lets throw more into the mix. Maryville, Walker Valley and Rhea county will move to 5A. All setting in the middle of 2-5A. There may be others I'm not aware of. I look for at least a couple teams to move from 2-5A to 3-5A in 09. Soddy would be the farthest East with Ooltewah next them Bradley Central. Ooltewah could be 4A if they plan for the split with the new Apison school. 09 could see a lot of changes.

I've been reading about all this. I'm sure the truth will come out soon. Hopefully justice will be served where it's deserved. Without knowing facts, I reserve judgement until officials release details whether it's in news or the justice system. However just wondering about Georgia laws. 1. Does watching and not participating but running after the fact make it an accessory to the crime in Ga? 2. How does Ga. define the difference between a fight and an assault? (bodily injury?) 3. Will the actions on the field prior to the incident have any bearing on the charges if any? Just a few questions that have been floating around in my head.

I guess it creates all sorts of problems of it's own.

Who in the world votes for Bradley Central? 1. We lost all our skill players last year. 2. Our off. line is so small you will think we are the running backs. 3. We are so slow that if we played a team of turtles we would be outran. 4. No need to worry about us. We are rebuilding what little we had from last year.

Who's to say the video would only be used for "private" viewing. Face the facts, that video could have been shared across the state. Not that I'm saying BCB would have but if someone else did the same, what would be the cosequenses (sp)

Congratulations on getting your new coach. Don't know him but sounds like you guys have a winner. Hopefully when those new zones get finalized things will get even better. Good luck to you this season.

I don't understand the comment about the three upper weights stalling. They were pinned in the first period. Bradley did however get a stall warning at 103 & 145. I don't beleive they gave up a point though. Question, how many stall points were given up by each team? I don't have that answer, maybe someone could inform all of us who didn't see the match or didn't keep up with it.

I guess I wouldn't like getting all them stalling and fleeing calls either. Danny just tried to keep the matches moving. Wrestling to win will keep those calls off you every time. Wrestling to keep from giving up bonus points will get them from a good ref.

Dakota Rheem is a sixth grader that came through the Bradley wrestling club system. Just a note: Lake Forest finished 4th. They were a true public system, non allstar team middle school team.

OK, you win!!! Your varsity weren't the JV. Your JV were the varsity. I keep hearing the same talk but never see results. If your on here looking for respect then earn it. AS for BC, I didn't say a word about them but your right, We lost all our talent. Wellll, accept for that back- up running back that ran all over WV and lets see, the QB and a couple recievers, a couple offensive linemen, the full back was just a sophmore and most of the defensive backs are back as well as two linebackers and a tight end. The difference between Bradley and Walker is that Bradley knows where they are at and what they have to do to get where they want to be. Walker on the other hand thinks they have enough talent to carry them as long as they get a new coach. For now lets just leave the WV- BC football debate for next year. A talented team can go out and win regardless of coaching. Maybe a better word to use in this case is potential.

Sure I did. Nearly all WV JV were varsity too while most teams played the kids that didn't get any time on varsity. Your varsity should have beat every teams JV. Two years now all I hear is talent. Out of all the male sports WV only has (1) sport they are competitive in and that's baseball. They didn't win the region in that either.

has davis been a head coach before? surely wv wouldn't hire anybody besides a proven head coach that can in fact win. there's too much talent there to waste it on somebody learning how to be a head coach Umpire, where is all this talent you keep stating there is at WV. Talent will overcome poor coaching at least part of the time. An 0-10 season that you were outscored 328-108 can't be all coaching.

Rumors are spreading he is looking to leave Silverdale. Has he spent the kitty and ready to Bolt. Could possibly be a larger private school with initials BB and he has been seen nosing around LFO again. Has anyone heard?

OK boys, If you want to keep kicking Bradley then we will have reply. I tried to take the high road with my previous post but I would have to point out that Bradley had 15 first downs to Blount'ss 6. You only had (1) sustained drive. The other two scores were long runs (49) & (41) off Bradley turnovers for the other two scores.
