ITJX-A golden cow is pretty self exlanatory....a cow that is gold in color. You must be getting the form that the word is used mixed up.....a solid gold cow would be, in fact, inert and impossible to ride. But a cow that is simply gold in color is just as good for riding as one that is normal brown, black, white, and ive even seen some red ones on occasion. I wish people could look at things from an unbiased view for once. Think about it: BCB clearly said Heath Eslinger went up into the stands to stop the filming also....so where is the "Heath Eslinger is a thuggish, childish idiot" bullcrap? Was he not as wrong as Chad? It seems like more Bradley bashing to me... OnePostOnly-The fact that you are implying that the Bradley Wrestling program has no principles automatically should make people skip the rest of your post, as anyone with a brain stem knows that the exact opposite is true. Bradley is continuously being criticized for STICKING TO THEIR PRINCIPALS when it comes to them not wrestling private schools. No, you say, theyre just scared when it comes to THAT issue. Sounds like everyone is trying to get them to follow THEIR codebook of rules, not this one that Bradley supposedly has. By the way, do you know where i can find that? I would like to read it some time. Is the some sort of secret treasure map that tells you how to find it? Chad decided (as would i have also in this situation) to quit arguing because it is useless. Why should a grown man have to sit behind a keyboard and defend his own motives that he thought were right to gain the approval of a few other "grown men" whose opinions are about as important as those last forfeits that Franklin recieved in the state duals semi's from Ooltewah? (Soms can help you with that if you dont know what i mean) CobraKid-If coaches taping other teams matches is illegal, then wouldnt you agree that morally it is wrong, because it gives an unfair advantage to the person with footage on future opponents? What is the difference between that and a parent (especially one as close to the team/coaches as BCB) doing the same thing? If you think this thread was started to help others in the same situation, then why offer names and bash the people involved in the first place? (Im not saying you are bashing BCB, im referring to all of these "wrestling experts" we have on this board)

whatruthinking- Dont you ever ask yourself "what am I thinking"? It is obvious that you are involved in this in some way and are just bitter. It also is obvious that you are jealous of David and the success he is having. FYI, 2 of the other wrestlers transferred ACROSS TOWN to Cleveland high school, and whether they were allowed to wrestle i am not sure of, but i am sure of one thing-David came back to Bradley AFTER he had a long talk with coach. Bradley High School is his home, just like Tanner Johnson said, he didnt feel right anywhere else. And the fact that you say that he suffered no punishment is just rediculous....he changed schools, left his HOME, had to adjust to a new way of life, was forced to make new friends(which im sure was easy because hes a pretty funny guy) all to compete in the sport that he loves. Why arent you complaining that Courtney Coffey got to transfer to another school IN THE SAME STATE and still wrestle? (I dont want to stir up anything with him, just a question that i would like to be answered) Anyways, all that i have 2 say is get off the kids back, and lets wrestle!............That is, as long as the coach will let YOU back on the team......

Rusty, Im a little confused by your comment. Could you please point out where i ever said "coming in the tournament having never wrestled a varsity match." Im pretty sure that i said the line ups were the same and they had 8 brand new starters this year. If im wrong then please show me where i mislead you on that.

This is true that the line ups are the same, but what was meant by Coach Logsdon was that the line up for this season has 8 starters that are brand new kids that have never been varsity ever in the past and that this was a huge accomplishment for Bradley since they were young and inexperienced with varsity matches. They had to come along way from losing the kids this summer that made some bad choices that hurt the lineup and team. This team has surpassed everything that was said about them at the beginning of the season that bradley would have a hard time going anywhere this season and they have worked hard and beat alot of good teams and placed second in the state. why bad mouth a team and kids that work hard? They lost with dignity and congradulated soddy after the state finals. That says alot about these kids and the bradley program.

Pavlou-Winesburg was a great match. Winesburg leads 4-2 going into 3rd, Pavlou picks bottom, escapes and gets a takedown. Has in legs working for the turn and gets a cradle and sticks Ulric, BIG extra 3 pts.....but in no way caught in a mistake, the match went to the end. Without the pin Pavlou still wins as long as he could ride him for the last 45 secs.

smwwrest- Demetrius isnt the only one- Creagan is a 3x all american. Placed 7th at jr nat's and i think twice at the nhsca open in va beach.

Yea all creagan does is stall. Next you are going to tell me that he DIDNT pin his first 22 opponents last year and that he DIDNT win all american honors for the 3rd time this summer. I suppose he DIDNT beat Jake Young AND Danny Tolbert in the same tournament last year, either. Creagan relies on his scoring ability and conditioning to win, and to say that he stalls is just dumb. Im not saying that Creagan could beat wright, im just sayin that Creagan doesnt stall out to win matches.

you cant go on that some kids wrestle diffrent and styles clash. im not saying he's not good but until you win you cant just trough him in there. rankings dont mean anything really. confidence booster, but the truth will come out at state. where everyone can wrestle kids from across the entire state yall both do great jobs.........thanks

Tiller, Soddy forfeited at 171 because they didn't want Roberson to have to wrestle Creagan and leave the match on the shoulders of their 189 lb wrestler to beat Heffington. Turned out to be good for Soddy, but the match was closer than you obviously think it was.

yeah this is tanner congrates to mikey, he is tough. thats a hard enviroment to wrestle in. i will see you at the end of the year it will be a good match, dont plan on it happenin like that agian. good luck soddy. beat those bears....and good luck to coach henery and turner

i am a bradley fan through and through, soddy daisey is the team to beat this year no dought. they are just to strong in the weights that bradley is week in. but the same for bradley against soddy. it will be a great finals match, it will come down to who pins, and the bonus points...... they wrestle a dual bf state it should be interesting to see how things might be diffrent at state with bumping around. and the rankings are you kiddin me they are terrible..... way off on some teams!!!!! good luck to both teams!
