Does DCA have a radio network or will they for this game?

Thanks for the info! I know the Rams have been praticing hard all week and will be more than prepared for Friday night. Hopefully they can shake off the bus ride up and be firing on all cylinders at the blow of the first whistle!

I can assure you there are no Tyner players on here, and no one posting as a Tyner fan is a player or student......but you can't tell me you haven't looked at the brackets to see what kind of road your team has to go down to get to the big game....then again maybe your haven't.....regardless none of us will be running the ball or making a tackle Friday night /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> The TSSAA brackets and home team situations are a confusion every year, so not sure how you are seeing the simple questions of who would be the home team depending on who wins as Tyner being cocky and over looking DCA....

Tyner's defense has been exceptional against the run this year. I honestly believe that all of our losses have come against passing teams. Brainerd, Fulton, South Pittsburg, and McCallie all threw the ball very well against us. All of those games also included bad turnovers that led to points for the other team. As far as the line and linebackers they are all solid and fast, and playing their best football of the year. The secondary started this year very shaky and were getting exposed early in the season, however they have had several interceptions and played excellent man to man defense in the past 3 to 4 weeks. Tyner's defense will no doubt keep the pressure up this Friday night.

Good deal...same way with the Tyner threads, not much trash talking at all.....This is the best Tyner defense that I have seen in a while and some of the most talented running backs to come through the school in a long time. To call this team soft or a no doubt win would be crazy. DCA is no doubt good and has had a great year, this should be a fun game to watch.

If you had trouble with Bledsoe's defense, your in serious trouble Friday night. Tyner will hit just as hard but will be doing it at a completely different speed.

I completely agree! The only thing stopping Tyner in this game will be the turnovers.....I hope DCA is looking past Tyner thinking about the next round.... If so, you guys should be in for a good show!

You are correct, Tyner was missing several key players for the playoff game last year. Regardless that is history and York was better that night. The Rams defense is playing their best football at the moment. They are tough. The offense seems to be getting on track. I think the defense can carry us a few rounds, but we will need many many less penalties and more production from the offense to keep us playing. I think Tyner wins this by 10 to 20.

If I was a player there is no doubt at this point in time if I lived in that area I would want to play for South Pittsburg, and back in the early to mid 90's I would have wanted to go to Marion. Is Whitwell the 3rd school in that zone?

So if South Pitt wins the coin toss will they recieve the ball first? I think if Tyner wins it, they would deferr to the second half.

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking you had a choice of schools since it was the county. Do you guys that live in the area think that the early to mid 90's the players were choosing Marion over the other schools the way that South Pittsburg seems to be getting the athletes now?

Are there some players that go to South Pittsburg that are zoned for Marion County, or could go to Marion county if they wanted too? I work with a older guy that lives in Marion and supports Marion football and he has led me to believe that there are several athletes who could go to either school. I am not making a big deal or fuss about it, just wondering. Also, does South Pitt have a radio call of the game? Not sure I am going to make it at this point.

That is a bold statement. I have no doubt that if you guys rush for over 300 yards you will win, but like RAMFAN said, Fulton and Brainerd didnt come close to that and they both have speed and strength.... we will see.
