Sorry, my vote is still with skogan, esp. after his performance last night...

Temple played quite an amazing game- yes SP took care of business- 49-32 but Temple was ahead at half time 26-21. Lack of depth, players,some big unforced tournovers, and a good SP team out did them in the 2nd half temple was down only a touchdown (per possesion) throughout the entire game- until the very end- SP did a great job on seth- but he still had 9 catches for 140 yrds. and a td No team had score more than 19 pts. against sp and temple got 32!!! Temple- be encouraged- win the next two games and you are in the playoffs- you just scared the crap out of the #2 team in the state in single a- concentrate of copper basin and grace, take nothing for granted and make some noise in the playoffs....

takinit2thehoop- please let me know who you are and why you are so anti-temple-does it have something to do with their dominance in basketball?- Own up to your hatred and tell people who you are- or at least why you hate them..

Are you telling me this kid threw the ball- 73 times in one game??? if so that is unbelievable- and smithson has in my opinion one of the best WR in the state- seth skogen- he has in 7 games- 67 rec. 1446 yrds, and 19tds.

Not sure how antonio is higher than seth when seth's stats almost double antonios?....someone explain- I think seth had more receptions at this point last year as a sophomore than antonio does now as a senior..... also remember that- media made those picks- not people who actually know talent... (maybe I answered my own question)

Personally- I think that snails and mocs3 have some good points- however, I will say this- I would have no problem going up to oldtime- or anyone else for that matter and telling them exactly what is on my mind-believe me- that is not something I struggle with- the other thing is that I happen to know b/c of certain connections, and b/c I do have some knowledge of football- having played, that they were very good calls- where coach beard and skogen wanted the ball was available, some were not capitalized on- therefore appear to be bad calls- but you HAVE to know that not EVERY good play call automatically works- I also know that players do-yes- make mistakes- Seth would acknowledge his fumble as a mistake- Kevin would admit his missed opportunites throwing- to be mistakes, as would the wideouts who ran bad routes- as would the captains who changed certain play calls in the huddle- or who made bad descisions- the least of temple's problems the other night was coaching- there were much bigger dominate mistakes made that need to be addressed- and the coaches Im sure will address them- oldtime does not criticize players- and this is the first time I have heard him criticizing temple on coacht- I just think any criticizm at this point-esp. to coaches in uncalled for... and whoever said it pushed some people over the top- b/c of a build up or complaining from temple's fans and parents- I think nailed it...

Oldtime- I was referring to keith walls- in regards to the going off on players- not you- and drinks- has been drinking a little too much- yes witwell won- yes they were the better team last night- but why does it hurt a team to go to a guy who is leading the state in recieving- averaging around 10 catches and 200 yrds a game?- that was a retarded comment- if anything- they probably SHOULD have gone to him a couple more times in certain situations- b/c he is the big play maker- Hats off top witwell- played well- but the game was on the line until half way through the 4th- hats off to D, seth w, josh, seth and joey skogin- played well and hard-

And i "FEEL"- a fart coming on- look the fact is you don't know as much about football as the coaches so don't criticize b/c it really doesn't matter what you feel or think b/c you AREN"T the coach, and you don't know half as much as they do- I happen to know that alot of temple parents fans etc... have been complaining and blaming the coaching staff for losses this year- in fact they have gotten mad during the games they have won! The temple guys are trying to overcome a lack of numbers in a war of a game that requires ALOT of people in order to compete- the last thing they need is people who "support them" criticizing players or coaches- they need to constantly be uplifted-and that is it- Temple is one or two plays in each loss- (other than sequatchie) from being 6-1- they need encouragement and support in every aspect -REGARDLESS of your feelings about a play call- keep it to yourself and encourage- a couple more wins- The guys from temple clean up their play- and the playoffs look promising... and certain parents(who will remain nameless) need to shut up and act their age and stop going off on players and stop trying to pick fights with the kids on the sideline- we don't need any more "walls" for out kids to run into- just shut up- and at least pretend to be an adult... Oldtime-ok sorry not completely ignorant- but you get my point... oh and one more thing- one play call was changed by a player in the huddle- and another play was a broken play that temple had to do something else out of...

I just have one thing to say to --------------(who believe it or not is a grown man)- and I hope he gets on here to read this- He is a temple fan as am I- and yet he goes off on the players and the coaches more than the people who hate temple do- You need to shut-up and stop acting like such an immature, ignorant jerk- everybody who goes to the games probably knows more about football than you- so get off the coaches- and stop calling players out and going off on them- and stop trying to pick fights with kids on the temple team (who would kill you)- JUST SHUT UP! Temple did have some opportunities- and did not capitalize- witwell had some good defensive stands- - but oldtime-are you saying that there were bad play calls b/c that is what you (being completely ignorant about football ) think- or b/c the coaches told you they made some bad calls- and I really am asking- but just a warning- don't criticize what you know nothing about- I am pretty sure everyone on temples sideline was trying as hard as they could to win...

ok I think that catuballer- has a good point- so along with stats- give height-weight-40 time and some strength stats...

Temple needs to come out to win- no excuses- who cares if the ball is wet-throw it well- who cares if you have 19 players- play till you die- No excuses- play hard-and play smart- Temple will win if they don't make any HUGE mistakes- like they did against valley- temple has 1 chance to beat witwell- excuses will just lead to you getting beat again....

I am more and more impressed with seth skogen and antonio robinson- I think you HAVE to say those two are the best- ESPECIALLY after watching them play- and I think they are very similar- robinson MAYBE a little quicker- Seth runs better routes- .... not sure about speed- it really seems to be the same...

im gonna get blasted I know- but I don't think anyone has the numbers of seth skogen- 6 games- 58 rec. 1226 yrds. 16tds- the best in chattanooga and one of the best in the state- 6'4'' target- 215- and a 4.65- is tough to guard...

Seth Skogen- I predict will be up for Mr. Basketball as a senior- as well as Mr. Football (single a)- and could possibly win both- Basketball -sophomore year- 18 pts. 5 rebs a game Football-Junior year- (6 games) 58 rec. 1226 yrds. 16 tds. He is being recruited heavily by UT and Stanford for Basketball- (not the only but the biggest) He is being recruited by ALOT of Div1-AA schools for football- and vandy, kentucky, virginia, and alabama have all made contact and been in contact..

football time just lost all creibility by saying toss- up- How can we ever take you seriously again?

I believe seth is the best in the Chatt- Area- One of the best in the state- b/c I have seen him along with other people (antonio robinson for one) play. and for those who said seth can't do things against good teams- I- think that sequatchie is a pretty good team- maybe not great or the best- but good- and seth had something like 8 catches for 163 yrds and the 1 td they scored- I don't think that is SHUTTING him down- he did fine- Sequatchie is a BETTER TEAM than temple- Also interesting in this debate is the fact that seth will more than likely not play WR in college- TE seems to be the best position for him- I think he dropped down to about 215 once the season began and I know his bench WAS close to 300 prob about 295 or something- and he is only a junior- so when you consider the position he IS GOING to play- and what he is doing as a Wide out- it is mighty impressive-...

BECAUSE- we are talking strictly about 1A- I think I am safe to say this on here- but Seth Skogen HAS got to be up for it with his numbers- size and skill- 45 rec. 1006 yrds. 12 tds- that's pretty dang good- But out of curiosity- (ond only people who actually might know something about this please speak) How does Mr. Football work- is it the Best player in the state- the best player on the best team- How does playoffs and W/L affect this award?

or maybe it is a mix of - i hate temple cause the usually always beat us in everything and now I am a loser who wastes my life hating temple on coacht and sometimes bragging about my cool truck b/c I am such an athlete and have such experience and expertice on all these subjects ( very sarcastic)- oh and you didn't play football- ever did you?-oh yea and you stunk at basketball also--

How is it misleading to put up big numbers by playing to your strength- So if a team has a great half back and they run him all the time his numbers are misleading- Your an idiot michael
