Good to see the bats come alive for the Hickman Co 15 Fairview 4 game especially with Seniors Brady Cartwright (knee, 4 games missed) and Ethan Owens (back, 3 games missed) out. Good pitching by Dawgs Logan Hill and Damian Kiest as well. Keep it up guys!

Tuesday at Hickman Co, Lewis won by a score of 7 to 5. Hickman Co had the tying run at the plate in the seventh but not enough to get the win. Ammons got the W. On Wednesday, Hays and the Bulldogs had a shutout at Lewis Co with a final score Hickman 12 Lewis 0. Hays had a complete game with 10 strike outs, 1 hit batsman, and 1 walk allowed in 6. Way to go Dawgs!

Hickman and East Hickman started Thursday and Friday. Thursday with Gossett on the mound for East, Hickman won 4 to 3 with B Owens getting the win. On Tuesday at Hickman Milam was on the mound for East. Hickman won 6 to 0 with Johnson getting the win.

HC 11 Fairview 10 Hickman co rallied back after an 8 to 0 first inning by fairview. Dawgs scored 4 in the bottom of the seventh to win.

Tell me this is a joke. You are going to write articles, call commissioners and board members because you are upset you can't walk on the field and talk to Junior. If I am not mistake there is probably some issues involved besides "we don't want mom and dad on the field." Like the last post, give the team some breathing room, then you can talk to your kid. Traditions change for different reasons and you should not take it personal. Oh and if I am not mistake I think "school employees" do not work for you and they pay their own pay as well.

Hickman Co is playing with 2A kids not 4A... We did not have 4A kids and would never have 4A kids.. We should have never been in 4A, but with school size we were stuck there.. so make your excuses for why we are winning, but face it we are winning, brother and we are back where we should have been all along!

I'll agree! Cude is really playing well and is at the course daily. Look for him to do well this year!

Dotson 31 point 15 rebounds...10 short of 2000 for his career in scoring and well over 1000 rebounds for career.... The whole team had a great night and almost had a huge upset.. thumb

Fisher and Floyd both said it is important to keep someone like McNair because a skilled position like qb could take place of 4-5 unskilled. For instance if they drafted a young reciever, more than likely Mcnair could get them the ball. You get a younger QB it will be harder to get a Mason the ball. Makes since, but I know too they are trying to paint the picture they want others to see.. I think it will all work out.. Fisher will do his best to make it happen.. Don't be suprised as said earlier if Carter is back.. he is the most irreplaceable I think in the list...

First Samari, now Tank Williams was arrested for a DUI... I have had a lot of respect for these guys, but they have got to consider their actions and the effects of them upon the jobs they have. They are role models, it comes with the territory.. Now kid rock is a different story..

So far there have been some great posts and those who are seeing him play can really see what he is made of and why Tennessee grabbed him.... I think Tennessee can take care of that... The strength coaches and his trainers will have no problem because of his work ethic.. I say Dotson will be contributing largely by his Sophomore year... thumb
