  1. I saw Clay play at CSAS on Saturday. I thought they looked pretty good. Which number is Boles?
  2. Hall of Fame Schedule Saturday, November 20th @ CSAS Admission $5.00 10:30 AM Grace Boys vs. Hixson Boys 12:00 PM Baylor Girls vs. CSAS Girls 1:30 PM Hixson Boys vs. CSAS Boys 3:00 PM Grace Girls vs. Clay County Girls 4:30 PM Grace Boys vs. Clay County Boys 6:00 PM CSAS Girls vs. Clay County Girls 7:30 PM CSAS Boys vs. Clay County Boys
  3. Your sources may be right, but this kind of stuff was said about Temple a couple of years ago and all they basically got was probation.....and the person in charge of that investigation now runs the TSSAA.
  4. Grace and CSAS are in the same district and cannot meet unless they both make the finals.
  5. Grace has the advantage at the guard positions. Friendship is tough inside but if the Grace big men step up defensively they can pull out the win.
  6. CSAS defeats Grace Academy 73-65 in the Region 3-A Championship!
  7. "THE WEATHER".........chance of SNOW!
  8. This tournament could have a lot of surprises with the 3-6 teams being so bunched up and close. CSAS and Grace are the top two seeds but Grace has the player of the year in Brandon Herman.
  9. Make that a perfect 10-0 regular season and 60 straight district wins for the Patriots of East Third Street!
  10. Who has South Pitt played? Who have they beat and who have they lost to?
  11. Who has South Pitt played? Who have they beat and who have they lost to?
  12. Arts and Sciences beat Mc Callie! All of Mc Callie's starters and players were there. The freshman who doesn't start has been hurt for a week or two I think. Mc Callie just got outplayed!
  13. What was the score for the Boyd-Christian Heritage game last night? Did the football players play/
  14. In a world full of terrorism, economic decline, starvation, etc., I am glad to know that Ms. Hamilton believes that there toward the top of the Lord's list of things to do is sending athletes to Temple to continue the so-called self-proclaimed "dynasty"!!! We can all sleep better at night knowing that the "priorities" of the world are in proper order!
  15. Temple will win. In the big games, they have Grace's number. Sexton will be the best player on the floor.
  16. To my dad (offour), I appreciate the compliment, but once again your OPINION is wrong. I will tell Coach Dragoo you said hi next time I see him. Please tell Coach Marcum the same for me. Taydizzle
  17. Temple's team next year, if they have a school, will be their jv which is not very good. This is of course assuming that their "recruiting budget" is still cut due to the lack of students currently in the school and the lack of funds and their recruiting activities director now resides in D II....but who knows?!?
  18. This was supposed to be and has been a rebuilding year for CSAS. They lost seven seniors last year and have been working all year to get to a point where they could compete with Grace and Temple. That point has been reached. The last three games could have gone either way and were single digit losses. What happens next will be interesting to watch. NO PRESSURE on the "baby Patriots" as this is not supposed to be their year. Just go out there and work hard and have fun.
  19. I have seen them play and I am biased, but I know that the Patriots will go as far as they play hard and play together because they do have talent.
  20. They do. 6 vs. 7 games. Both CSAS teams play in the semi-finals on Saturday.
  21. Very few times do games come close to expectations (at least for the title of this thread). CSAS is still not where they can be so that is encouraging. It seemed as though they were holding a couple of things back for a future meeting since in all likelihood this is going to be the region semi-finals again this year, bar some unforseen upsets. Temple is still the better of the two 5-A teams from what I have seen.
  22. CSAS lost by 12 to the eventual champion.....I don't think that that would qualify as "rocked", but then you are a runner not a basketball expert!
  23. You are a wise man. CSAS will be in trouble tomorrow night. Grace can win by whatever margin they choose. The game will probably not be worth watching so just stay home and read about the death of CSAS in the obits on Wednesday and save yourself from sitting on the most uncomfortable bleachers in one of the worst gyms in the city. Go Grace eagles.
  24. Like to Temple? Is there a scholarship available? Maybe he could live in the dorm.
