Well I know all you people down in the state of coalfield like to think you should be the center of attention in the entire country, but lets face it... your basketball team is gonna stink. You could bring all 97 kids in your school and sit them on the bench, and you still couldn't beat a good size hard on..

The Highlanders flat out stink... they didn't do anything to win the game except let Wartburg screw themselves... we beat ourselves and cloudland had absolutely nothing to do with it. We have Junior Pro teams that could be cloudland's sucky high school team... I hope you enjoy the victory now, because when you step up with the big men you'll be lucky to lose by 50!

Well ya know, all of us Wartburg people could get on here and make up names so we can listen to other people brag about us all day... but it's not going to help us out at all if we don't do anything when it comes game time. So it's probably our best interest to let this topic die down and get back to work, which is exactly what this football team needs, I'm a member of it, I should know...

Wartburg is no longer in a tie for number 1, from what I heard Oneida pulled an upset on Oliver Springs which locks down WB for the 1 spot all by themselves... and as for keepin all of our players, yeah it would've made a small difference, but we're doin just fine with havin other players step up and take their place. And to the idiot that started this conversation, i'm from WB too, and comments like that make us look just plain ignorant, I know who you are and i'll stomp you in half if you start crap like that again, peace out from Wartburg.

You all will be glad to know that wartburg beat Lenoir City tonight 55-52, it was an all around great game... every single person for Wartburg stepped it up and did more than enough, great job dawgs!!!

Well it really doesn't matter how bad rockwood beat you, we probly could've beat you worse... but since our jv was in with 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter we just weren't puttin up such a good fight.

Alrighty Phil... on the schedule we play coalfield twice each year, once at their place and once at ours... this year we played them at their place first, every other time coach layne has taken us down to play at their place first... we have lost, but we won this year, understand now? GHScherokee, i know you played us the second game of the year... what game did you play rockwood?

Yeah, the game tonight was a good ol fashion rumble... but I loved every second of it!! Coalfield is the first team this year to score over 50 points... it's a shame, but it had to happen sometime. O yeah, I just love all this talk about so many individuals right after someone on the team makes a comment about teamwork, so if we're gonna talk individuals, make sure not to leave other important names out too, it's always nice to get some recognition, and I think i've only heard 5 or 6 names on here constantly, spread the love ya'll. Wartburg played alright tonight... but I agree with you all... not to their full potential, tonight we played more not to lose than playin to win, but that'll be fixed in the next practices... LETS GO DAWGS!!!

I wish you weren't so ignorant, now... if we didn't make it past second round last year, and everyone's predicting a state appearance this year... then it must have something to do with the players that left! We just didn't have the team chemistry we'll have this year, because some players just didn't care, and just didn't try. Still arguein about wartburg basektball? Don't you have some coalfield stuff to worry about, like which crappy football team they'll play next? From what I heard, maybe you can confirm this... but from what i've heard some coalfield players and fans believe they could have a winning record in 2AA, including a win over Alcoa and Catholic... if they really think this, go ahead and set up a scrimmage, I would pay gooood money to see them get killed, I mean play!

Well at least I don't have to worry about putting you in your place!
