Sycamore District Champs!! Congratulations girls, everyone did awesome!! I believe they will face Liberty on Friday at 5:30 at Lexington. Let's keep this thing going!

A lot of people like to say that the girls game is boring to watch because it is not as fast as a guys game. One way thing TSSAA could do is put the shot clock in high school games. I like this idea not only to speed up the game, but I also thinks it rewards defenses and might stop some team from playing stall ball. I might be totally wrong but I think the shot clock might really help the high school game.

Sycamore won by about 14 points. It was a very physical game from both teams. This was a very big win for the Lady War Eagles. They are also unbeaten at home this season. They have a tough road game coming up Friday at Montgomery Central.

Umm weak team? Sycamore lost to Liberty Tech who was 4-0 and was predicted to be 2nd in their district behind defending 2A State Champs Chester Co. !! So I wouldn't exactly call them a weak team!! I think Friday nights game will be a very competitive and hard fought match. So good luck to all.

I was under the impression that Northeast cancelled the game because when we got our schedules this year, our coaches told us that this game had been cancelled. So I don't think we were scared or anything.

Sounds like a bunch of excuses to me, and last year was last year! By the way, Station Camp, Creekwood, and Marshall Co. are a lot better than Giles Co. and Harpeth. But enough what if's and who beat who, Friday night is what really matters. Good luck to all!!

I don't think that cheatham has played anybody for their first two games like Sycamore has. Sycamore has played three really good teams opposed to the two ok teams that Cheatham has played. I think this will help Sycamore, but I can't wait to see this game. It should be an exciting one, good luck to both sides!!

Matt Carrigan is deffinately the best junior QB in the state of Tn, maybe even the nation. He is 6'4 220 and runs a 4.5 forty. He throws the ball like no other, with perfect accuracy and percision. He plays for Sycamore, so if they are on your schedule beware, he's a hoss!!!

Shouldn't have problem with Sycamore? Looks like they had a hard enough time with Waverly!!

Yes Lawson has been making her presence known, but unlike Neuenschwander she's had plenty of talented team members in the past.

Are you saying that Neuenschwander for MVP is a joke? You obviously haven't seen her play. The girl has some unheard of moves. You can say all you want but when Neuenschwander wins MVP next year, don't be shocked. Another thing is that you can't compare a post and a guard together. Also Lawson has a very experienced and talented supporting cast(not to mention illegal), sycamore only has juniors and sophomores.

In the 05-06 season Sycamore High School in Cheatham County will be a force to be reckoned with! They will return all five starters. They have no seniors on the team this year!! They have winning record of 12-6 and are improving daily. This year is a learning experience that will prepare them to go far next year! So remember Sycamore when basketball season rolls around next year.

Sycamore is pretty good this year. They beat Goodpasture by more than Cheatham did, but Cheatham has some great players. It should be a very interesting game!
