Well i would just like to give congrats to the Hendersonville Commandos and espically their senior class for turning the program around. I have had a family member on the team for the past 4 years and up untill now their has been no real leadership. Now look what it can do-----a year later after a 3-7 season we not only make the playoffs but we knock off a 1 seed and earn respect that the boys havent had while in this program. We have a big game comming up and i hope ( The Real Commandos will Please Stand Up) and show up. Have a good week of practice and come out to play Friday If God is for us who can be agianst us?[

i agree and dissagree but it all comes down to the fact that we know Coach Hatfield wont change the defense... all i can say about the every loss we have suffered is look at the way we practiced and warmed up before the game......i guess i'll focus on the positive the o moved the ball all night and was cheated on the goaline................now thats in the past so lets have a great week of practice I can do all things thru CHRIST who strengthins me

Wooooaaahhhh....i played for HHS and i doubt that they are friends...............if HHS's offense can show up for this game and give the D a rest then it will be an extreamly close game.........last year the game was closer then the score....remember HHS sat out some 20 some-odd players for going agianst team policy...........and thats the difference between this years and last years team.............they are a good bunch of kids that give great effort and do the right things......if the teams the past 2 years for HHS were like this years team both teams would have been in the playoffs..............the other teams had some of the best talent and size this team has seen since 01.............and this years team dosent have but 6 athelites but they work hard and just look how it has paid off they are about to play for a region championship

Well as fans there is only one thing we can do......if this game has playoffs written all over it then as fans we need to show up....and be louder then we ever have been before........and for those of u that follow stats.....this year HHS has beaten every team so far that embarrased them last year......Wilson Central,Glencliff and McGavokwho beat them last year scoring a combined 57 to 15 and this year HHS won these games 69 to 12......Last year Antioch won 27 to 16......Now is it just me or have u noticed a trend.....HHS is playing for revenge with momentum heading into this matchup.....and remember Revenge is a dish best served COLD

we will never know who could have excelled under which coach and which system

u dont know that.....teams will be gunning to hand them their first loss....anything can happen on any given friday

well if antioch does like every other metro school...it will be a late hitting trashtalking affair.......whoever hits the hardest will talk the most and get into the other teams head....therfore helping them win.....its the game within the game

My answer is yes....but it will be a hard game Antioch will come out playing well after a big loss to the Gallatin Green Wave......Any thoughts?

I dissagree i think any team can hang with Gallatin.......dont get me wrong they have a great defense but their offense leaves something to be desired.......47 points but i doubt they had to drive 80 yards to score......if a team dosent turn the ball over to that dominate defense then Gallatin can be beat easily......but thats just it....thats the extreamly hard part....not only are they good but they put fear into every offense they play which leads to getting some easy turnovers....along with good special teams..........its about as hard as it sounds...u hit them in the mouth they bleed like everybody else.....a metro team just has to bully them the way they have been bullying everyone else

COMMANDOS...i read in the paper that GHS has been hurt up and hope to be healed after the by week.....rest is dangerous.....u cant stop working hard....if i were them id be thinking i could win because they beat u last year.....just remember 20-6 Glencliff

I think Antioch has a good shot to win this game.....they have to do 2 things play good special teams and they cant turn the ball over....if they do those things they have a chance to dethrone GHS as potential region CHAMPS

I dissagree......it all depends on the way both the HHS defense slows Glencliffs speed.....and if the offense can put the ball in the endzone when inside the redzone....I respect GHS alot after the way they beat HHS at home last year and the fact that the 0-4 squad has nothing to lose adds to their threat

Honestly im realy worried about this game and its implications.....if Glenclif comes out passing they might find that an untested secondary will give up the big play......and i dont necessasarily mean Touchdowns but converting on second and third and long keeping the HHS offense off the field....and if that happens then the Commando offense will have to make every chance and drive count...something that they have done at times but its gonna take utter dominance entering the tough all region games left second half of their season

I pick HHS but at the same time i must remind you GHS upset the commandos last year 21 to 6 threw the ball all over them
