One thing is for sure......State title game will be a dog fight. There really wasn't a 5A team over here in the east that could play with Knox West. State title game will be interesting.

Cottrell ran a 4.3 atleast 8 times last summer and as evidenced with the above link. He'll be moving on that turf.

I'm going to say West 45 Rhea 17 I just don't think The wing T will do much against West.....trying to run against West is like running into a brick wall.

DB and Science Hill would have major trouble with West and Fulton. Maybe Alcoa too, but they would do well against the rest.

SD exploited the secondary some, but Rhea County largely runs out of the wing T. This West defense is very difficult to run on. Rhea should have a tough time putting up points.

They're pretty confident over at SD.....they're in for a rude awakening in my opinion.

West doesn't have a rich football history......I think it's obvious these are the best teams West has ever fielded.

Henry county beat west because of a missed extra point last year. I think they're capable of winning it. These two teams are more than capable as well, though

South Doyle had trouble with Gibbs and CC. You think west would have struggled against either of those teams? West will roll. Coaches and alums are pissed about that article.

And West has had their best teams ever the past two years They had already won 3/4. They were so scared, though.
