  1. Looks like Olive Branch just took a major blow. News station in Memphis just reported that Olive Branch's football program has been put on probation for playing 4 ineligible players who had transferred from Melrose HS in Memphis over the summer. Going to be interesting to see how this affects them.
  2. This is a little clip of them last year I believe.
  3. Does anyone have the stats for both teams on that game?
  4. Munford Cougars got beat up on by Horn Lake Miss 23-44 in week 0 then took another loss from the hands of Covington 10-28 in week 1. They finally got their first win of the year over Hardin Co. last week and did it in a convincing fashion 42-28. While Millington man handled Kirby 50-7 in week 1 and then nearly gave last weeks district game away to Bartlett thanks to some very sloppy play having 9 or 10 fumbles although they only lost one of those. Millington pulled out the win 9-7 with a field goal with only 2 min left in the game. Now this lays the ground work for the greatly anticipated M&M Bowl. The Trojans have owned this game the past few years but this year could prove to be the rivalry we all have came to love over the last few decades! How do you football fanatics see this one unfolding?
  5. They could tighten up on Def. They gave up the big play once and would have a second time if it weren't for dropped ball by Kirby. Kirby is not that bad they just made tons of mistakes leading to several turnovers which the Trojans capitalized on. they moved the ball well at times just never could finish a series. No secrets here BARTLETTHSGRAD04. The Trojans will run it all night with 3 different backs. So if you can stop the run you will be in it. If not it will either be a long night for the Panthers or a very high scoring game on both sides. Good luck to you guys!
  6. Sorry just having fun with the other side of the state!
  7. I don't know about 6A but here's the top ten in the State 1. Whitehaven 2. CBHS 3. White Station 4. West Memphis 5. MUS 6. Briarcrest 7. Olive Branch 8. Ridgeway 9. Craigmont 10. Germantown
  8. WOW a busy week 0. Thanks , I'll will be making one of these. Will Clarksville NE/Jackson NS be a good match up?
  9. Does anyone have a Week 0 schedule for the West end of the State?
  10. What did these teams look like? Arlington, Houston, Millington, Collierville, Bolton, Germantown, Bartlett ,Southwind. Did any of them shine above the rest?
  11. I see they're actually playing some AAA 6A teams this year
  12. Arlington won in a barn burner 20-19. Great game by both teams. Millington missed a 40+ attempt with 4.3 sec on the clock. Both teams had a ton of yardage on the ground. Millingtons mistakes lost the game. 2 missed extra pts, 2 15yd late hit penalties set up two of their scores. Then going in for the game winning TD they fumbled on the 1 yd line with a minute and some change to play. Game over,, right? Not if you ask the Trojans D. They stopped the Tigers 3 and out to force a punt out of their own end zone which set up the missed FG attempt with the 4.3 sec left. Great game by both teams
  13. Not seeing either team this year MUS seems to be the most logical choice! They are state champs! Not to mention their recruiting options are lots wider
  14. Millington has had some really good teams in the last few years MARKH Just messin with them guys. They love their Trojans and it shows every year with each post And by the way there is nothing wrong with that!! Good luck to ya'll this year!
  15. That's all I said was "confidence ". Sometimes confident talk can sound a lot like cockiness or arrogance depending on how you say it. I do believe I remember some confident talk a couple of years ago that got ya'll exited from the playoffs in the semis. Cause in my opinion Millington had the better team they just pumped up a sleeper with their "confidence"
  16. I like coming on here at the start of every season to see what kind of predictions are being made for the coming football season, and also to see how the west and middle of the state stacks up to us. And one thing that I can count on every year is that the Millington bunch has no problem with their confidence
