Congratulations to WS. I know that the QB's brother R.I.P. is proud of him. It has been too long since west Tn won a state championship. We have so much talent here but it is so divided among the schools. City and county.

This comes from the same person who said Millington's "region dominance continues" in predicting the Millington/Craigmont game. I also recall asking you what game you were referring to when you talked about our "zillion" mistakes in the Arlington/Craigmont game topic and never got a response. Yeah, mistakes are made on the football field but name me a team that plays mistake free football. These are high school kids after all and they will make mistakes from time to time. All that being said, I would really appreciate it if people would refrain from trashing other teams on here instead of just saying something like "well this team does this well and that team does that well." Is it possible to do that??? GoChiefs, I'm jumping on your bandwagon here.....I haven't seen Craigmont play. But as you mention, this is high school ball, and there will be plenty of mistakes made. Might be one reason why Bartlett is having such a rough year....too many mistakes? I'd also add, at most any level of football, when a team has a strong defense, such as it would seem Craigmont does, it causes mistakes by the other team. I don't see this game as even being close....I think the Chiefs win it easily. GoChiefs, My money is on yall. If yall play as a team like yall did here, I just don't think Bartlett can top it. I thought this forum was for HS football fans from all walks of life, backgrounds and education levels. Some of us earned our education the hard way by protecting your freedom to pursue a higher education. So why don't we just stick to HS football. FIGHT TROJANS FIGHT NEVER GIVE UP

Seriously? White was 2-9 passing for 10 yards and an INT and Harwell was 0-1 passing. Correct me if my math is wrong, but doesn't that work out to 20%? I am just going to assume you meant in previous games. The problem with the bootleg last night was that much of the time, there was a DE in his face when he turned or there was one hot on his heels from behind. I actually liked the idea of Coach Hawkins to attack our DB - Sam Craft - on that side. It was his first game playing DB on the high school level, and if it were me, I would have gone after him too. Sam just made a couple of good plays. GoChiefs pass onto the rest of the staff congratulation on the win. And as to the QBs stats yea I think he was talking previous games. QB was under alot of pressure all night. Never had a chance to set his feet. On the positive side he knows his shoulder can take a hit. Hope yalls injured player is better. Got to prepare for next week now. I don't about everybody else but dang I'm tired of watching games in the rain not to mention it makes for a less than fun game to watch. First I want to thank Craigmont administration for moving the game to Millington, Hopefully this wil bring out a bigger crowd and the field will lead to less injuries. Congrats to Coach Clifton and the Freshman. The Varsity seniors still say they are the best freshman you had though. Also if a player transferrs in and shows all the proof required to show residence then I really don't think a coach has the time or need to follow each player home to confirm what he say's. Luckily we have a great field crew at Millington. This man spends a tremendous amount of time on the field and coach's our freshman team. All the props in the world to him. FIGHT TROJANS FIGHT NEVER GIVE UP

He let issues off the field get to him and he made the decision to take it out on someone that didn't deserve it. He has had his problems during his time at Craigmont and Coach Van Hooks has done everything he can to try and keep at least one stable environment in the young man's life. Not a while lot of people know the off the wall issues that city school coaches have to deal with on a daily basis, but I feel Coach Van Hooks has done an outstanding job with the hand he has been dealt. If the coach has taken care of it in a proper manner thats fine. He probably should have been ejected but for some reason the refs didn't see the need. Your right a lot of coach's have to be dad and some time mom to. Unfortunatley the law has to deal with them later when they let their emotions take over when they get older. I said a year or so ago that after coach v has been their for awhile he get it turned around. Looking forward to a very good game Friday. FIGHT TROJANS FIGHT NEVER GIVE UP

Not sure where it came from about Millingtons QB #11 being 100% and I am very close to this young man. Yes he did throw the ball some and get some reps at practice. The doctor is still has last word though. FIGHT TROJANS FIGHT NEVER GIVE UP

I was not at the Arlington /Craigmont game so maybe someone close to the programs can answer this. I saw the film and could not figure out why Craigmonts #60 went after Arlingtons QB way after a play was over and the QB was at least ten yards from the play. I agree with MarkH's scores. I have alot of respect for Craigmont and what the coaching staff has done over there. I knew that once coach V had been there for a while he would get it turned around. I would not clump all West Tn teams into that one group. I do believe that the middle part of he state has an advantage when it comes to attracting and keeping good quality of coachs. I also agree that you are where you are and you really can't control it. FIGHT TROJANS FIGHT NEVER GIVE UP
