Not much to say about this match up. So to feed off CHARGERFAN, Covington convincingly won the first meeting. All the "Power Rankings" & "Professionals" have Covington dominating. Home Field Advantage goes to the Chargers. No One gives Millington a chance. So if you're a gambling man there's probably a obvious pick here. So place your wagers wisely and Good Luck to both teams.

Yeah That's kinda what I said. Covington is the only sure thing. The other 3 7A teams it could go either way. Or are you saying it will be a easy win for any 7A team?

I really don't see Ripley beating Sheffield. It will be a tough game for anyone in Region 7 except maybe Covington.

There are a couple guys that Live Streams all of the Millington games and Dyersburg and Covington are the only two schools to not allow them to stream Live. They may could have went to the visitor stands and did it anyway but they respected the teams wishes and did not. Now from the research we have done it shows that the Millington gate is affected very little if any at all by the Live Stream. As a matter of fact we've found that several viewers have sent donations to the football booster club thanking them for the broadcast. Because a very high percentage of them are alumni or friends/relatives from out of town wanting to see the games. We want them to feel the motto "Once a Trojan Always a Trojan". So by Live Streaming they can feel that they are still as much a part of the school and community as they always were and in return they want to be a part of it. You've all heard the saying "Out Of Sight Out Of Mind",, well By not Live Streaming the games "Out of Mind" is exactly what happens with a lot of these Alumni and other viewers.

Now Millington just announced today that NO tickets will be sold at the gate this week against Munford. Only online with GoFan or at the main office of the High School until 2PM tomorrow. Millington is selling them online & at the gate right now. They are only selling a certain amount so they're recommending you buy online because there may be a limited amount at the gate depending on how many they sell during the week.

Another "Heads Up".. The Millington Munford game has been moved up to Thursday Night 8-27-20 I believe some others have as well but not sure which ones. Covington @ Haywood & Dyersburg @ Brighton are also moved to Thursday night

Millington has improved a good bit since the opening week. I believe they are a little better than their 4 & 6 record as they played 3- 6A teams 1- 5A and a private school in the non region part of their schedule. Although the region is down this year the Trojans did go undefeated in region play. Should be a very competitive match up for a #1 vs #4 first rounder . I believe Ripley handled Millington pretty easily in a pre season scrimmage, Didn't they?

I’m not sure. Just seen where one of those private schools was sharing it on FB and thought “now like they need the money more than a public school.” So I thought I’d pass it on after I voted for WH/Central.

I don't see Dyersburg getting past Brighton. As a matter of fact it probably won't even be a good game.
