  1. Game 10 is THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE TO ME, but I can't miss an opportunity to brag on myself... I'm perfect so far Game 1: Cordova 40, Bartlett 27 Game 2: Covington 21, Liberty 13 Game 3: Trezevant 22, Craigmont 6 Game 4: MUS 45, Christian Brothers 9 Game 5: ECS 35, First Assembly 0 Game 6: Ridgeway 40, Germantown 21 Game 7: Central 35, Hamilton 14 Game 8: Postponed, to be played Monday, October 7, 2013 Game 9: East 35, Melrose 26 Game 10: Hasn't played yet
  2. I guess smack talk is against SHG's religion LOL... Well it aint against mine... I hope Whitehaven sends 4 and 5 man rushes only and MAKE #6 Prove that he can throw the ball 35 Plus yards in the air. Lock up press man should eliminate those quick WR screens that SHG runs so well. Let's see if #6 has a POPCORN ARM or Not. Offensively, I would start off trying to BOMB on SHG's secondary. Meaning I would call 3 str8 Deep passes at some point in the first quarter, especially if SHG gives the Single High Safety look (Cover 1 or 3)... Now if they come out with the Cover 2 Look... RUN THE BALL AT THEM. The Speed Sweep is not a Bad play at all but that play where they pull the backside Tackle (Power O I believe), The Read Option and the Cross Buck/Misdirection run plays may Murder these guys. SHG's defensive is very aggressive and likes to blitz so If we hit one of those blitzes in a Crease it'll be a HOUSE CALL, but the runs need to be the Downhill run plays. If #2 or #9 or #28 don't play any DB its gonna get UGLY for SHG. #12 doesn't look bad and #80 doesn't either, but #86 Does LOL. Those guy's aren't the athletes that Willingham is for us not to mention #9, #17 and #13. SHG may score early... As long as Whitehaven stays close I think we'll eventually pull off like Usain Bolt.
  3. I think White Station EASILY has the toughest schedule... So far They've played (LOST) to US, Oakland, South Panola (MS), CBHS... They still have to play Arlington... Not to Mention they are in the MOST ATHLETIC and TALENTED region in AAA... 16AAA
  4. SHG board is NOT trying to engage in some Real Banter... Just resent the validation thing SMH.
  5. I saw that clip on Saulsberry's FB page... #14 won the MVP as a QB right???
  6. Uh Oh!!! Its about to get REAL UGLY for that popcorn arm QB for SHG... Clow, eh... I mean People that have Picked against Whitehaven Please take note that our DC is done with his Pipeline Middle School Duties... Change Your Pick NOW
  7. I'm sure they will, BUT #14 could very easily follow dude IF he's hard to handle for #3. Either way Teddy gonna have them DBs ready. That's what he do LOL
  8. We playing the SAME Schedule as we did last season minus Memphis Overton and SHG You have NO IDEA how good Central or White Station may be
  9. Picking SHG over Whitehaven and you haven't even seen NO PARTS of SHG play is as crazy as this "Govt Shut Down" Nonsense that's going on now... When a Big 10 (IL) plays a SEC (TN) school what usually happens??? The Speed of them down south boys usually Torches the Midwesterners... Think about it, and change your pick ASAP
  10. Sacred Heart-Griffin (SHG) has an impressive looking quick strike offense and a very Active and Aggressive defense. Special Teams play seems solid even though they missed a nice amount of PATs in one game. An anomaly I'm sure. #2 and #9 seem to be their Big Play guys. #78 has Legit D1 Size at OT. Their QB #6 doesn't look to have a Strong Arm but he's very accurate and has a pretty quick release. He reminded me of a Left Handed Chad Pennington. They have decent size on their front lines. #78 as I mentioned already, Along with #75 seem to have Next level Size. #78 has to be all of 6'5" and 280ish. They start off FAST, FAST, FAST as a team. They can put up points in bunches and their defense seems to be Extremely Opportunistic... That's All the positive I saw.. Now to temper my (SHG pickers' and real fans') enthusiasm I believe the film I saw had to be SHG vs the other teams' JV or Middle School teams. The folks they played against didn't look scared on film but they Looked Totally Out Matched and Under manned. From a Size and Speed standpoint. In BlackHaven terms, the teams looked str8 SLAW! #6 has a popcorn Arm but he would just throw a WR screen to #2 or #9 or #80 and they would get loose breaking tackles like Dez Bryant or something... It was amazing to see such Suspect tackling. #2 ran back a Punt like he was Reggie Bush smh... Honestly #2 looks legit. He could play at Whitehaven along with #9 and #78. SHG seems to be a good team that won't kill themselves from what I've seen but I will be very interested in seeing what they do against an Athletic Defense that will slip blocks on those WR screens and will actually get physical and TACKLE. SHG Secondary will have the nickname Toast if they play us like they played on film. They ran some cover 1/3 looks and some cover 4. I would Highly suggest they run cover 4 ALL NIGHT because otherwise they will be getting BOMBED ON like Hiroshima! I'm sure they may play #2 and #9 in the secondary against us. That would be the only way Whitehaven's QB Jordan Williams doesn't Break Jason Harris' Passing TD record. No Lie. All and all the Game will be super competitive early. Whitehaven cannot go down more than 2 scores to these guys. It would be extremely difficult to come back and that's not taking into account the possible Homecooking that would make it virtually Impossible to. However If and when Whitehaven keeps the game close throughout the first Half I think We could eventually pull away in the 4th quarter simply because our coaching will be on par with theirs and we will have WAY MORE Talented Athletes. When I say their Secondary is BFI (the Garbage service in Memphis) I am not exaggerating. The only hope will be for them to play #2 and #9 both ways. Even if they do that Marshawn and Ramadi along with the Whitehaven WRs should be able to run those kids off the field in the second half. Whitehaven MUST keep their composure, play a pretty clean game (less than 2 Turnovers, less than 6 Penalties) and not let SHG jump on them early and it should be a nice fun Bus Ride back to the 38116 Saturday Night/Early Sunday Morning RESPECT DA HAVEN
  11. Enough of the Clownin' around. Back to the Reason for this Thread... Good job recording fellas. Thanks for the shout out. I hope yall business is successful. There's nothing like youth football
  12. pepvol and MaryvilleWiseguy, Those last few posts are the utter definition of Seinfield Posts
  13. Clap it up for the program that has played in All four 6A State Title games... Yall 2-2... We're 1-1 I'm not combining anything. I'm just letting it be known Memphis only Respects yall program... We're not in awe of it like the folks East of da Boro. We can and have beat yall and yall can and have beat us. Your graphic means squat towards my larger point. Even though I do have a mini man crush on Coach GQ
  14. PLUS 300 TO THIS POST With respects to Daniel Bryan... YES, YES, YES
  15. Mark Dodson had 381 rushing yards... 5 TDs... and the Game Winning 2 point conversion... #64 Thomas Burton, this year's Co-captain for Whitehaven MAULED whoever was over him on said 2 point conversion allowing Mark Jr to walk in the end zone untouched... That's what won the State Title... Not a call... @PolkCo., No one is whining about not being ranked ahead of anyone in OCTOBER, donkey! @MLReb, Your reading comprehension skills are lacking, clown! Maryville faithful and fake fans keep threads going about Nothing. Collectively, Yall are the Seinfield of Message Board posters. The Mythical Dragon has been slayed twice by Memphis City Schools in the last 4 seasons. If we can make it a best of 3, cool... Personally I'm looking for a 7AAA team to do something but whatever. December is a LONG WAYS AWAY. RESPECT DA HAVEN
  16. Whether you want to give half credit or No credit for the Victory Whitehaven Earned is of no consequence... Let the Record reflect Whitehaven as the 2012 State Champions regardless of your innuendo of me or anyone else with Whitehaven being Don Corleone with your constant "Rouge" official talk. LOL. Whitehaven has Never had the officials in our pockets. Ask Germantown, Collierville, MUS and CBHS about that treatment.
