I'll answer your question like this... I don't think the QB play of Timmarious "T-Money" Mitchell was a problem more so than untimely/suspect play calling during Crunch time of big games was. In the State Title game against Maryville last season Mark Dodson got less than 15 touches I do believe. In the Semi-Final game against Smyrna an untimely pass play call was our undoing, after Dodson had just broke a big run no less... I was going to TRY to give a diplomatic Answer, but I can't. #17, Timmarious was a good QB for us. I really enjoyed watching his development from a Freshman to his Senior season. Drew Reed is good, D@MN Near Great, but Mark Dodson aka Mark Jr. is irreplaceable for Whitehaven.

If Sigel or Riverdale or Dobyns- Bennett or whoever else from Middle of East TN loses a close game or wins a close game against a known inferior team I bet money that folks won't be questioning if those teams are overrated. You Middle Tenn and East Tenn HS Football fans will probably just talk about how your district is like the SEC or some crap and how any team can win on any given Friday night! I make this assumption because I've actually read those words. You guys act like no one from Memphis City Schools can play ball outside of the ONE team that makes it to the state or something... It is absurd to think that when my city is sending more D1 prospects and overall college prospects to school to play FOOTBALL by comparison to any other part of this LONG East t West state. Last season we didn't play any OT games, but I'll you the way these boys have came up over the years, I'll say that I don't know if any of these last few Whitehaven teams would of won a game like this. This 2013 class is about to be the culmination of the near misses. They've been forged by fire and I dare say their Resiliency makes them better but you wouldn't know anything about that because you don't really know them like that... LIKE I DO! Ok then, If you claim to have never heard of Whitehaven until last season's state title game and we are of no significance to you one way or the other then don't say we might be overrated. Speak on the East Tenn teams that you know about and don't ask that asinine question about Da Haven, Hater. You don't see me speaking about the Dobyns-Bennetts or the Oak Ridges or the Farragauts of the TN HS Football world for the very same reason you shouldn't be speaking on the Whitehavens of the TN HS football world. White Station is the Main Big public school near our level in Memphis. They Have great coaching (they won the State in '09) so beating them is always a task. Hope that helps. Overrated! Man Please!
