I can't comment on how we played last night, had to work. However I can assume that we did alright with a 46-0 win. From what I have heard we really spread the ball around and had some good playcalling, which has been very suspect at times. Dont know much about FC this year, but it is always tough to go on the road and win in the playoffs. Hopefully we will pull out a win and move onto the quarterfinals.

Hopefully East can do what we didnt do in 05, and win tonight. I was on the 05 team and the loss to Richland still has a sour taste in my mouth. Come on guys and lets get to the second round.

It is obvious you dont know a thing about football or this coaching staff, it is a totally new staff except for Chatman. They were down 22 pts , if that was last years team they would have lost by 60, but they pulled together and made it a game with a good jo byrns team. You are right about one thing, there are still some me players on that team and it will take some time to get those players out of the system , but it will happen real soon. It is because of fair weather fans and parents like you blaming coaches and not their own kids for acting like a bunch of punks I know who the coaches are and it has been the same garbage year after year. We could have actually taken the lead if the play calling was good. After 05 it has never been the same and the crap continues to this day. Calling me a fair weather fan? Get real I went to school at East my entire life and have played and watched this football program my whole life. If you can't see the problem with this team than thats your loss. We could have won the game last night with the players we have now, all we need is the right person calling the plays.

Being a former Indian football player it is sad to see what this football team has become. Unfortunately I happen to know some players on the team and they are nothing more than a bunch of "me" players. Congrats to Jo Byrns you all deserved the win last night. Get used to beating us year after year for a while if we still have most of this coaching staff. I would get into detail about why, but that is for another time and thread. But again Congrats to you all on the win and best of luck to yall for the rest of the season.

Yeah unfortunately I know some of the players over here at East seeing that I'm a former Indian myself. A lot of the players on the team now are well lets just say "all about me" type of guys. I think some of them just look to start a fight out there. It's probably going to be a all out brawl against Jo Byrns. That's embarrassing to here though.

Nice to see us come back from last week with a win. Not sure how good Cheatam Co. is this year, but a win is a win.

That sounds pretty promising for ER...With the new classification ER will have a lot more success. They should contend for the District and I'd say they have the potential to make a deep run in the playoffs. Now that the private schools have moved on I'm sure the players are feeling pretty good about their chances. Did anyone get the Robertson Co. Times? Coach Chapmen and his Staff had to compete in the ABC district (CPA, DCA, Goodpas ect.) for the last couple of years and its not gone so well. You can debate Private VS Public all you want, but until you live it like they did only to see your kids know they didn't have a chance win. That has an effect not only on the kids in your school but on the entire community. I would love to see you guys have a great year, and show the TSSAA how you can thrive when you are on an even playing field. GOOD LUCK EAST!!! Yeah we only had one good year when we played the private schools. That being in 05 when we actually won the region. Hopefully we will benefit with the new classification and have a great season.
