A team with 8 losses doesn't deserve to be in the top 10.At least by your criteria and going by records.Nobody ranked above Clay Co has 8 losses so why should Clay co be there?And I'm sure you're going to come back and say because Clay co is in the toughest district in the State.Boo hoo.I'm going to add to Wardadg's post.It will be settled at the end.May not be Lake Co but I'll just about bet it won't be Clay Co.Like Wardawg said,2 losses to the number 3 and 5 team in AA.Lake Co had Central by about 14 points until T.t. got in foul trouble.I know that's part of the game.But I also blame that loss on the Coach and the players.a 3 point lead with about 4 seconds left.All they had to do was foul immediately and Central would have shot 2 shots and Lake Co still wins by 1.But for some reason,they didn't and Central made a 3 and the game went to overtime and Lake Co lost.I believe they have lost by a total of 8 points in the 3 losses.Plus the district is tough with Greenfield,Bradford.Played several Kentucky schools.Played a good Brighton team.So again.if you think Clay Co should be ranked in the top 10 with 8 losses because they may have played a tougher schedule,then yoou just figured out the answer to why Lake Co is ranked number 1.

First off, IF Lake county gets to state, they will not want any of Wayne county You're right.You didn't say Lake Co would never beat Lake Co but maybe you can't comprehend what your sentence would mean to a lot of people.Let's look.You said:Lake Co would not want any part of Wayne Co?What does that mean to you?If I told someone that they didn't want a part of me,I would think that means I would beat them down.Maybe you should move to Lake Co.We have good schools and you could learn a lot.

Just like your post above saying the more I think about it,the 3 players should be the 3 you named.All of them from your area.And I saw T.T. and Simmons at Lake Co an an idiot could tell who was the better player when they were on the floor.As for Lake Co would never beat Wayne co.That's just plain stupid and shows you are biased.We don't play the same teams except PC and I see that Lake Co did just as well as the powerhouse Wayne Co.Also ,Didn't Wayne Co lose to Northside.Liberty beat Nortdside as well.I believe I saw that the only loss Northside had was to a Single A team in the same district as Lake Co.Greenfield.So by that.looks like Lake Co can more than hold their own.Get out of Waynesboro every now and then and watch some other teams.You saw T.T. maybe a couple years ago.My pit bull dog was a puppy two years ago.But you ought to see him now.Dumb and biased post.

I said she could average 30 points a game if she was on a 1 player team.But she isn't.As for your other stupid comment about how she could have 30 points and stays in foul trouble..She could have 30 points in a lot of games against Halls and several other teams just on layups alone in 3 quarters.You being the so called genius that you think you are should know that.And scoring is not what she's all about.What can you not comprehend about that?I thought you posted you were at the game with Central.You even talked about the 4th foul being a charg was a bogus call basically.She has a lot of them.Like the coach said to her.she has 1 foul on her already coming off the bus.You seem to be negative toward T.T. yourself in the past year or so.I bet if she was playing for the mighty Pioneers ,she would be Miss Basketball and the best player in the State.Maybe you should talk to the Gibson Co coach and have him put Lake Co on the schedule next year with it being T.T.'s senior year.

I saw Lake Co play PC at Tiptonville and Lake co had a 16 point lead in the first half but T.T. had to sit out most of the second half.While she was on the floor,wasn't a comparison.The Simmons girl got a lot of points the second half about 14 from the free throw line.Maybe you just didn't come to the right 1 game.Should have came to Bradford with Lake Co winning by about 40 points and T.T. dominating.Or Union City a couple nights ago when she did everything but sell popcorn and had 36 points.T.T. had to do more scoring as a freshman but now she doesn't have to score as much for Lake Co to win.again.if Lake Co was a 1 person team like PC basically is..T.T. would have to shoot more and could average 30 points a game.But the fact is..Simmons is a good player but nowhere close to the athleticm of Flowers.The scoring isn't what makes T.T. a greta player.It's her quickness,handling the ball and setting the other players up for an easier two points.Teams can't press Lake Co.Lake Co basically just gets everyone out of the way and lets T.T. bring the ball down the court.It's not all about scoring.Because of Flowers,the other Lake Co players get open shots and easy layups.That's just as good as her scoring.

T.T. Flowers is the best player in Single A.I haven't seen any of the players you named except the Simmons girl from PC.She,s not bad but certaintly not in T'T's class.For one.too slow.T.T. would eat her lunch.She has to shoot a lot for the team she's on because she doesn't have a lot of talent around her.T.T. has players around her but she makes them go.If T.T. was on a team like PC or Halls,she would average 30 points a game.Get real.Miss Basketball shouldn't be about how mant points a girl scores.We probably have Shamone Pearson that has scored a lot of points off layups because T.T. drove the lane and could have shot a layup and dished the ball off for an easy 2 points.I'm not convinced Daniel is all that or Wayne Co is the #1 team in the State.I read that Lake Co beat them at a camp in Martin.I also see they beat PC by 9 points.Lake Co beat PC by 16 points at PC.If Lake Co makes it to the State,people will see when she goes against these teams head to head.Had about 22 points against Oliver Springs at the State as a freshman.Do you not think she's better after 2 years?Get real.

I don't know how Miss Basketball is voted,whether it's the sports writers,coaches or both.Also see a lot of people talking about stats.That's not a true measure.I'm sure Simmons from Perry co plays about the whole game with her team not winning as much.The other players,Carla Daniel,Rachel Garland and T.T. Flowers are all on winning teams that have beaten a lot of teams very bad and probably haven't played the whole game.I know Flowers has been pulled early in a lot of games.One I saw was Lake Co was winning about 30 to 4 in the first quarter and never played the rest of the game.and Lake Co insn't the same team when she's not on the floor.She could score 20 to 30 points a game every game if the coach were to leave her in.Fastest girl I've seen in Single a.The only player I've seen close is the Street girl from Bradford.I'm sure any of the girls are worthy.

I agree with you about fred.I also heard we had the official from Halls that called the critical 4th foul on a ghost charge against T.T.in the Central game.I didn't make it to the game last night but heard it was a good one.By reading Bigster's post I'm not surprised.I've seen games go to overtime that shouldn't have.I wrote about the same thing.Coach Johnson seems like a nice guy but his coaching at the end of close games leaves a lot to be desired.Can't believe he didn't foul that girl from Central that night .A win for sure.Then to read the post by Bigster and it happened again last night.Not sure if Lake Co can win the whole thing.They have the talent but the main 3 players have to stay on the floor and the coach has to coach until the very end.Not with 20 seconds to play.Needs to be telling them to foul.Looks like I missed a good one though.

Sorry..I remembered looking at the schedules and was thinking Wayne Co had played Cascade.But I also din't know Loretto was ranked either.But my post is not really if Moore Co is #1 or Wayne Co is #1 or Jackson Co is #1 or Lake Co is #1.My post is about..I can't see how a team is ranked # 1 in the State.Wins 4 games by very large margings with the clock running,and drops 2 spots.I'd think the same thing if it happened to Wayne Co.I guess Coach Johnson is going to have to beat teams 90 to 20 but that's not the way he coaches.And I know it wasn't a real game but in the camp at Westview,Lake Co did beat Wayne Co by 10 points.But I guess the voters don't know that because it wasn't an official game and they can't see it on CoachT.No big deal.Just that Lake Co doesn't seem to get any recognition for doing good.But sratch a few vehicles by a couple idiots and everyone on Coach T knows.Even the voters.

Wow.Can't figure out who votes on these polls.Lake Co was tied for the number 1 spot last week and even the local paper here was talking about the fact that Lake Co was tied at the number 1 spot,had 4 impressive wins in 7 days,with all of them being more than 30 point wins and drop 2 spots.Amazing.It did say that Lake Co picked up more 1st place votes with 7 but still dropped.And one of those teams ranked ahead of them had a 5 point win.And the win wasn't against a top 10 team.Won by 31 points against Union City in which everyone played.Union City had beaten a very good Greenfield team previously.The same Greenfield team that is the only team to beat Liberty,a team ranked about 3rd in AA.Lake Co also beat 62-38 with without one of the starters even playing,beat Trenton at Trenton 59-27 with everyone playing and had Humboldt 50-14 at the end of the 3rd quarter.The clock ran in the 4th quarter and Lake Co won 56-28 .Go figure.

It was a hard fought game.Nothing wrong with losing if the effort is there and it definitely was.As for the player,that's why I think in my post earlier,nothing wrong with him being on the floor or if he is on the floor.Not the player to be handling the ball.I have been to most of the home games and a few of the tougher away games.In most of the close games,seems like he is always the player losing the ball.I believe Humboldt stole the ball at a critical play at Humboldt.Nothing against him.As for the team and the coaching.All good.I noticed when Lake Co had the ball the other night ,Lake Co was down by 5 points and the ball.I was wondering if Lake Co was going to shoot the ball quick or take the last shot.I thought either go in at the half down by 2 or 3 points if we hit a 2 or 3 pointer or at worst,still 5 points.Don't shoot quick and Humboldt come down and hit a shot and then be down by 7 and possibly 8.Lake Co shot with just seconds.Beleive we made it.Can't remember.But good coaching there.Had it been last year Lake Co would have came down and shot a quick terrible shot and probably been down worse then they should have.All in all.I'm pleased with what I see.
