This is when I was doing radio, I told Pond after the game that they could hang with H2O but they had to use the edges and quick bubble game to match their athletes vs H2O’s. That is where the teams were closely matched. I even told him his line play was not good enough to win these games against TC, H2O, or a playoff game. Safe to say he thought it was a better idea to do something else. Line play and scheme are a lot better under Brooks!

Yes, Pearl has been my pick all year regardless who they were playing. This PC team can do so many different things. Upperman must execute as close to perfection as possible to have a shot at the gold ball. If they make mistakes Pearl will win comfortably. On the flip side, Pearl has to cut out the penalties. My thought process is Upperman is probably the 3rd best team Pearl has played while Pearl is clearly the best team Upperman has played. But that’s why you play the game. Anything can happen. Also, prayers to the UHS community

Good luck gentleman.While this is very true, if PC doesn't make mistakes or have 20 penalties (which they've come close the last two weeks) I do not believe anyone in 4A will beat them and may not be able to stay within 14+ points. When they are on they are must see, one advantage to Haywood, they've not been on the last couple weeks.

It makes a lot of sense actually, give the teams 1 or 2 games of your choosing and don't just give them free film by having games available on NFHS.

1st part is clear and away true, should be Mr. Football winner and rightfully so, 2nd part he’s in the discussion but there are several in that discussion, the state of Tennessee has a lot of very talented high school football players right now.

I've been fortunate enough to make several stops along the way and all have been very cool and unique experiences. The food was pretty dang tasty too. A few of my favorites have been Bell-Buckle Cafe (Cascade), Mustang Cafe (Loretto), and I can't leave out the Decatur Family Diner (Meigs County). All three are old fashioned comfort food and incorporate the history of their towns. Love all 3 of them and would recommend.
