CAK was having a hard time finding a team willing to play them. The only way to get a team was to play at their place for 2 yrs.

I must have been at a different scrimmage. Against Shelbyville you did break one long run and got tackled inside the 5 yard line. Shelbyville stopped EH on 3 straight plays and recovered a fumble on the third play. Offensively SCHS didn't run the ball well against EH but moved thru the air well. However neither team scored.

Marshall County is 3a or 4a ( can't remember for sure.) Shelbyville went 7-3 last year and is favored with Columbia to win the district this year.

The Marshall County kicker is rated the number 1 place kicker in the country and number 2 punter for his class

East Hamilton is definitely huge with good skill players. Seemed to have good depth. Marshall County impressed me with the fact of how well they have picked up a new system. Could be dangerous as the year progresses. I have noticed between last nights scrimmage and playing them in 7 on 7 their receivers tend to drop a lot of passes. I am from Shelbyville and will withold judgement on them. We did have 2 offensive line starters out. As well as a starting receiver and our fullback was out.

During my time at SCHS (89-92), the girls won the state all 4 years. I only know of one player on that team that transferred. That was Tiffany Woosley. She was a great player but the rest were all from Shelbyville.

Our teams sound familiar, other than the fact we rely on the run and you guys pass more. Could be a shoot out.

Hey guys. I will be coming up from Shelbyville Friday night. Can you give me a breakdown on the Owls? Shelbyville is not the biggest team, we rely more on speed. Skill position players are quick. We only have 9 seniors total and play several sophomores. We run the ball at about a 3:1 ratio. When we are playing good ball our offense can score in a hurry. Looking forward to Friday night! I have not seen anyone pat themselves on the back on here. I assume you have seen Shelbyville and Tullahoma played based on your analysis of how over rated both teams are. If Columbia is deserving of their ranking then the fact that both SCHS and THS played to the wire AT Columbia should justify their ranking. The voting for the rankings is done by state wide media. Maybe ask them why these teams are ranked. If you don't care for our district why take the time to come on here and dog it?

To attack the integrity of Marquis and the Shelbyville coaching staff is very tacky in the least. The rumor around here is Binns started the rumor about Marquis. Don't know if that is true. I just heard that and wanted to throw an unsubstantiated rumor out there.
