I will go with RHS in this one. If they play as a team they will win. Last week was a rough week and they survived with overtimes and buzzer beaters. Hopefully the legs will be refreshed and ready for the battle. RHS sixth man will be in full effect so be ready. Cant give any details since I haven't seen RHS play, just my opinion on a Sunday morn. Go Raiders, this Bobcat will be pulling for you guys. BTW you also had Community in common.

GCHS is 50-11 over last 2 years (61 games) with a trip to the sate tourny the past 3 and 2 region Championships in 3. No doubt this would be a huge victory for GC but by no means would it be considered an upset, imo. Should be entertaining game, GO CATS!!!

Well I see Coach Holt bringing in his old friend Coach Norman Dale and his tape measure and showing these young men its not the size of the court that matters. But good luck with the size of the court theory. GC has many weapons to throw at you as I am sure the cubs will as well. I dont know ccs past but GC players have been in big games before. Hopefully the big guys can stay out of foul trouble the first half of this game so they dont have to make up for it the second half. GO BOBCATS!!!

If you havent been to Ptown lately come early and enjoy the towns new look. Legends moved, old funeral home eye sore gone. Now to the game. Just looking at the Waverly sch looks like defense is not a high priority, yet they score enough to offset that fact. If GC can control the boards and the ball and get Howie help scoring, they should move on. GC can put one of the fastest teams on the floor I have seen, but they lose offense when they do unless they turn the turnovers into layups. GO CATS!!

If the view comes out and plays like they did the second half against GC the last game, they could look to pull the upset. But if GC will take care of the ball and not let off the gas til the mercy rule is in effect, they should take this game. GO CATS!!!

Giles returns almost all they had last year. Only one loss last year and that was to Lipscomb Academy in Sub-state(I think it was). It will be interesting to see where the scoring comes from, a lot of legs and only one ball. This will be my first year with soccer so all you vets bear with me. I am sure clay will come along and help me out. GO BOBCATS!!!

Well I just witnessed a GC game first hand and I must say I was very impressed with the Bobcats the first half leading 45-22. Then was very impressed with the view the second half out scoring GC 37-24, too little too late. GC seemed very aggressive the first half and then took the foot off the gas. If they would have kept pressure on the view should have won by 40. Credit to the view 24,3, 22 had great games. Cats better sure up some ball handling and lazy passes if they plan on making a run at anything. Cobb had a couple of nice dunks and Howie was Howie. GO CATS!!!

Looks like Giles might go to open enrollment, so the talent pool could get a lot bigger. I think they(school board) have one more meeting to decide.

Glad you are worried about the kids and the community. We all will be fine IF OC leaves. When is the right time for a coach to leave? Framework is in place for the next coach. A slap in the face is when a community and school system allows a coach to stay around and draw a check with out putting forth any effort and expect the players to do it all, past football coaches are examples.

The faithful are still faithful, some of us just dont like to comment without any facts. IF OC does decide to leave I dont think any of the Teachers/coaches will follow, could be wrong but none of them need to get their time in to retire from the Alabama school system. Cant blame the man for leaving while he has several years left in the tank, and the staff at GC still has plenty of horses in the stable to survive a change. Again all of this is IF OC leaves. Maybe if you jump on the maryville coattails you will have a third team from the east to pull for. Maybe you will get one right but I hope not. I recall a team from the east(ut) coming to mid tn last week, anyone recall how that turned out. CATS are focused and the clock is ticking. GO CATS!!!

I noticed a few extra cars around practice today. Probably should have took those green and black logos off before they sped off in a panic. CATS looked very good today. Remember all the hard work they have put in and remember the things that Inky told all the young men at the pre season banquet and they will be a very hard team to deal with, as they already are. Just a few more hours and it will be time to put up and get shut up. Each side has represented their school and team well this year.
