Comical post. I wonder if anyone ever posts anything on these boards that you DON"T feel the need to respond to? Here's something to get you going and might keep you busy typing for days. I heard that Lobos is thinking of changing its name to CBU prep! LOL.

If you recall my original point, I said that I thought Briarcrest was overranked and St. B's underranked. I still believe that. Head to head, they certainly proved that by beating Briarcrest 4-2. You needn't take that as your own personal insult, because I'm quite sure you have nothing to do with Briarcrests's successes or failures. Perhaps Hutchinson is underranked too. Oh, and by the way, you shouldn't assume that all those who post positive comments about a particular team are affiliated with it.

Hmmm...could I be right about St. Benedict? Guess time will tell.

Yeah, Devan definitely has once of the best punts I've seen. Also, should've mentioned Molly Starnes at G'town who is a very talented keeper as well.

Poor St. Benedict's...they beat Briarcrest 4-2 and their ranking drops while Briarcrest's stays the same. Not getting that one.

So sorry to have missed this game! Sounds like a good one. Would agree that Rebecca Toler is one of the best keepers in West TN along with Julie Eckel of St. Benedict's. Glad to here that her defensive line gave her the support she deserves this time.

And you must be part of the "Lobos organization" because when you say "the fact that 9 girls moved to Lobos speaks volumes on what is happening to girls club soccer in Memphis", the implication is that these strong players have "chosen" Lobos, when the reality is that the choice, in many cases, is to play for Lobos or not play at all. My final word on the subject for you and soccermom is "disingenuous".

Actually, I was expressing my own opinion, which the Commercial Appeal's rankings happened to reflected. I would not consider CA's rankings particularly reliable, but I think they might have gotten it right this week. Even a broken watch is right twice a day.

I don't think it's fair to imply that those 13 girls were trained by the Lobos organization, since at least 9 of them are coming to the Lobos from other clubs and have yet to play a game as a "Lobo".

Collierville had more scoring opportunities, but the Germantown defense did a great job at keeping the ball out of the net. Collierville graduated three strong starting defenders last year whose cleats are proving hard to fill.
