i've been apart of central teams, and i've whatched em for the past 10+ years. i can say this with 100% honesty. there is no way they will make the playoffs. they have an ability to underacheive. i'll take south tennessee high betsy and 4th is pretty much up for grabs i think but i'll go with east.

i'll take science hill by 4 in a thriller...78-74.

home cooking probably isn't the right term to use but the message is right........i didn't go to all of the games so i can't speak about any game other than centrals....the refs were horrible....gabe was gettin knocked down, dragged down, and shoved and no calls were being made.....i hope the refs for thursday are better cuz those from tuesday blew....and i'm sure the way the cougars played definatley fuels the overrated talk....but in the end its still W and thats all that matters.....just keep collecting those wins. db and central will be a good game.....it'll be tough...its hard to beat a team 3 times science hill found that out in district so we'll see what happens....speakin of science hill i'm pullin for them against ghs....lookin for an all big 9 final.....good luck guys.

i know ghs is good...no doubt....but thanx to lil mrs commex i'm pullin for every team that plays u from here on......i don't care if we do get knocked out...don't think we will..at least not in the early rounds....i hope u get demolished by someone so u will shut up.....u call myres a kid....ur the one thats acting like ur 3. let the boys play the game. u can talk all the trash u want but in the end it don't matter. its all about what happens on the court. so far central has taken care of buisness. if central is overrated then are u sayin that our entire conference is overrated.....and i know that just aint true. u better pray the cougars never face u cuz if they do.....u will have to deal with the rath of the rednecks.....incase u didn't know the crowd they bring IS THE BEST STUDENT SECTION AROUND! and u probably don't wanna meet them in a parking lot situation either....lol can't wait for the tourney to start should be pretty exciting.......GO COUGARS!!!!!! o yeah and go south...please beat ghs so commex will shut up.

central no doubt out played every team in the tournament....but this when they have to really get focused....from here on in there are no guarantees. i would love to see a big 9 final four next week but it will be tough for all teams involved....the cougars didn't beat science hill just by a fluke. they handled science hill the whole game. if it happens that chs has to play db or science hill i wouldn't put it past the cougars to beat them both.....sh is a strong team and are very capable of winning region. last year central lost district in 2aa then came back to beat the same team in region. it has been done before. i don't want to see it done but it might happen. but science hill will more than likely have to go through Greenville to make it happen. i wish the cougars the best of luck in region and if they can't win it i hope someone from the big 9 can pull it off.....good luck all.

i believe we play jefferson county tuesday.....i have to say i had my doubts but wow......wow....i'd have to say the cougars played their hearts out. i'm very proud of the guys. enjoy it guys u earned it...........i can't help it......how bout them county rednecks now.....takin down the city schools in back to back games.

yeah most def. the players should not worry one bit about Db but well i'm not a player so i can go on and on and on if i so choose. i just hope the central players are focussed. its goin to take another effort like they had tonight and probably someone stepping up for big points and D outside of the big 3, hess phil and gabe. nate has the potential to carry some of the scoring but the big thing is central needs to control the tempo. play their game not science hills......if the hill runs the show central could be in for a long night.......but what i think really doesn't matter it all comes down to the kids that play the game.....good luck central and good luck south

i'm very proud of the cougars.....it takes some real guts to play that hard for that long and come from behind as many times as they did....i would also like to thank souths fans.....i hope u guys beat DB it would be great to see them go down to 2 county schools in one week. that game was so amazing...words do not describe how great of a game both teams played just glad the cougars proved they can play at any level.

not always does a crowd change the game but when a player looks to the crowd after hitting a shot....yes he hit that shot but he is acknowledging the crowd is there......the crowd is in his head......if a crowd can get into a players head it does affect his game.....he tries to shut the crowd up.....he takes shots he usually wouldn't yeah he'll make some but not as many as he would if he would play team ball.........does this always happen? no....but it does sometimes that’s y myers is right crowds do affect the games. now on to more important news....sullivan central over DB in double OT......how bout them county rednecks now......both teams played hard. Game could have gone either way but central stepped up and made big shots and free throws when it counted most. central deserves this win and i believe they are peaking at the right time....gabe was unstoppable tonight....big shots great D....he did it all....i'm very proud of the guys....whole team had a great effort.....science hill here we come....can't wait should be a great game

last time i checked m.v.p. stood for most valuable player......gabe definately qualifies.....not sayin that there are not other players that deserve the honor as well....but gabe is the go to guy at central...hits 3's and if he gets position on the low block its money. the guy flat out plays as good as anyone in the conference he belongs in the convo for mvp. as for the student sections.....central is redneck....but the crowd definately has an effect on the game. last years central team may have gotten beat if they had to go on the road to get to the state tourney. i know they played at unicoi in districts but sub state was at central which the crowd definately influenced the outcome of that game. i can't wait for districts this year should be interesting...science hill is the team to beat but don't sleep on the little aa team that could....central is the real deal and don't be suprised if central and science hill meet on down the road.

that was a great game last night........really shouldn't have been that close tho.....central has to have some of the best fans in the state....they are redneck....but the some of the best....i don't want neone from unicoi bringin up the fight at unicoi like 2 years ago, thats old news and besides there's not proof as to who started it. neway.....i'm glad to see the seniors go out on top at home they deserved it. they are really playin good ball down near the end of the season. they're lack of size does bother me a lil near playoff time but if their shots are fallin from phil and hess...and u know gabe is money if he get position on the low block. it'll be interesting to see if the cougars can make another run at state. congratulations on the win.

i do agree central does tend to lose leads but sayin that hess and phil are wrong in shooting the ball is just plain stupid....i saw phil go 9 of 10 from 3 point at tennessee high tonigh......and i promise u he was not wide open all the time. and what hess does with the ball is amazing he makes shots that no one should have any buisness making i believe he had 24 at ths tonight...i don't care if he misses a couple if he puts up numbers like that.....yes he misses some but so does everyone else......i agree gabe is the real deal......a true all around player.......nate does have control issues but on the whole is a good player.....no one can replace mccoy's hustle.......the team is really comin together at the right time.......as for vaughn i couldn't agree more......he has had great teams that under even a good coach would have achieved far greater things than vaughn propelled them to...the one flaw i find in the cougars is a lack of size....the outside shooting helps hide this some but without a true big man its goin to be hard to make far in the post season

depends on how u define the best....if u mean the loudest crowd that causes the most chaosis for the opposing team......sullivan central definately qualifies.....hard to find a group of kids that are as rowdy as them

ok now when did i say central should have made the playoffs.....yeah they lost some close ones......but never in my post did i say that they should have made it.....hicks is not the real deal....i've played against him.......if he's the real deal how come 2-8 central can stop him.....and i don't care if u think i'm bringin u down.....if my posts bring u down i'm sorry that i rain on your lil parade.....i just say it like i see it. south is a great team....u guys did good this season i'm just sayin ur not goin to beat south.........if u want to complain a lil more about how i don't know the facts or how i'm complaining about central......go ahead......
