You are just now worrying about coaching? Brown is so far in over his head it isn't even funny. Our QBs don't have a clue what to do! The RBs are regressing. The most dynamic players we have (#2 and #5) never get the ball.

The past 2 season openers have been great. Last year, West lost to Fulton in a close one. AE beat East in another close game. this year AEand West battled to the end, withWest winning. Fulton wiped out East. You guys play hard and represent Knoxville well

Just watched a video clip of jamboree. Does 54 not start at LB? Does 10 not start? I saw both of these guys chasing the ball on defense. I am amazed at the memory loss some Jeff fans are having. I keep reading about this great quarter they had against Cherokee. Did they not play a second quarter? One in which Mo West scored 21 on them. Coming soon to Jeff Co (Friday), reality check 2010. Predicted to be worse than reality check 2008 and 2009!

We will know a lot about several IMAC teams come Saturday night. Jeff. Co. will definitely be put to the test Friday night with Greeneville (your Coach will not be able to save you from a good teams first team). Mo West will have a huge test with Austin East, and Mo East will probably get destroyed by Fulton. Sevier Co. plays William Blount who is not the caliber of any of the other three teams.

A headwind (wind in your face) will slow you down probably a tenth of a second maybe two. A tailwind (wind at your back) may help a tenth. My original comment talked of how many "4.4s" were being reported. A 4.4 forty athlete is elite, and east Tennessee has not had that many 5 star recruits. All of this would make me question the validity of the times at this combine. As I have stated before, Devrin is fast and very fast in East Tennessee, just like the kid from CAK. And for the record, Devrin was already behind at the 40 mark in the 100m race at the Vol Track Classic. Kid from CAK had buried the field

Catcall, I was at the Vol Track Classic (that big track meet at Tom Black as you call it) and watched the 100m prelims and finals. It was won by the kid from CAK in 10.68 which makes my point. I have seen Devrin run several times and agree he can fly. BUT HIS BEST TIME IS A 10.8. I do not recall the kid from Central, but if he came in 5th, his time was around 11.0. You can go to tennesseerunner.com and pull up the times from the Vol Track Classic if you wish!

Ok folks. I am a track runner, so I know a little about timing running events. You guys are throwing around 4.4s like they are candy on Halloween. Here is the deal. A 4.4 40 yard dash should translate into a 10.4 to 10.5 100 meters. Seeing as the fastest time in Tennessee this year is a 10.52 and not run by anyone this side of Memphis, I seriously doubt the accuracy of these times. Devrin Young has run a 10.8 100 meters which is really good for around here. As some poster stated before, these times would put these kids in the top 10% at the NFL combine. The more these numbers get thrown around, the less credible this combine sounds. These kids may be fast, I am not doubting that fact. But a legitimate 4.55 kid is fast in East Tennessee. Lets be real.

Wow! we laid aa golden egg. had achance to host the pool play and blew it. Instead of a gimmie win versus Cherokee, we now face Jeff. Co. who hung 23 runs on us last time. Our road to the region tourney just got a lot harder. We will now have to pitch Lee to stay out of the losers bracket. The losers bracket eats up arms.

I heard Kirkland hit a bomb against us (West) Friday night. I was running in a meet so I did not get to see it, but several of our players were talking about it.

I did not forget, obviously someone likes my name!! Imitation is the greatest form of flattery ! I have seen the Goins kid a couple of times this spring at track meets, and he does look impressive on the track. Personally, I think he is a better track athlete than football player (but I am a track runner only as well). On that thought, why do you guys think not many football players run track? We only have about 5 and Jeff has close to the same number. I would think the two sports go hand in hand.

Has anyone heard any names for the job replacing Coach Graham? Will they have a coach in place for spring? As a Mo West fan, I am interested in who they hire since we open up with the Roadrunners in August (just 4 months away!). I can't wait for football to start again.

For that matter, not many winners are on here talking about such mindless things. Max benches with spotter "just touching the bar" and quick fingered stop watches for 40 times are not our concern. I find it funny that I heard from a JC assistant himself that Jeff had 3 SEC caliber players, but none had a single offer. The program at Jeff has been in decline since Scooter and Jeff Jennings left. This year will be better because Greenville and William Blount will be down. Sevier Co will still beat you and you will watch the playoffs again.

Lady Trojans hos Cleveland tonight in a girls only affair. Should be a good test. West won down there earlier in the year (Jan) by 5 points. THe girls seemed to be a little more focused against Cocke Co. on Friday. Maybe Gaylon got their attention!

LAst night was not very good for the Lady Trojans. A win but looked ragged and dead. Sevier Co. is not good, but the game was close throughout. It was good to see Sid back on the floor for a few minutes. We need her for a few good minutes a game to go very far in the tourney. Get some rest girls!!!
