The name fits you well Insanity because that prediction is completely insane. There is no way the Bucs can hold the Eagles to 21.

If you want to miss a great game, you should probably just stay home. I expect this one to be another barn burner. Signal Mountain plays a very exciting brand of football that is fun to watch. The Bucs have a good defense, but we have played good defenses this year and I don't think the Bucs can stop it. The Eagles on the other hand have given up some big plays and quite a few points against good offenses. Anything could happen, but I don't think the slow methodical pace that Boyds offense runs can keep up with our quick strike high powered offense if we are on. I think the only thing that will stop the Eagles "O" is bad execution, but I don't expect that to happen either. This game should be another full 4 quarters of action. I can't wait.

It was a takeaway. Signal Mountain player tackled the ball and took it out of the Quarterbacks hands. On the news footage I saw, When they hit the ground, the quarterback clearly did not have the ball.

A win is a win. But if it makes you feel better, we can go with our varsity record of 22-2. Let me know if you know of any other 2nd or 3rd year programs that can boast that kind of record. These Boys from Signal deserve respect for what they have accomplished. People on here want to talk about their historys and live in the past and glorify there present team based on what previous teams did. Our history may not be as long as many other schools but if you cannot admit that what these boys have accomplished is their short history is impressive, then your are lying to yourselves. We on the mountain will show more respect when we get more respect. We have played a lot of good teams along the way and beat most of them. We are proud of our kids.

I would say that goes for everyone on CoachT. Lots of folks with issues.

What did you catch, a whiff of the Creekbank? Come on up to the Mountain where the air is sweet with the smell of Victory. I'm sure The Bucs could use a breath of fresh air after having to play in a Swamp all the time. Watch out though, if your not used to it, the thin air might make you a little light headed.

Thats what I tried to tell you folks before Trousdale. Our offense is that good. No one has been able to contain it yet. I don't think Boyd can either. We may not have the absolute best defense, but it is good enough to hold on while the Offense is good enough to win. We will score our points. At least 40.

You might be suprised. On a different field I still tackle pretty well. But I would not disrespect the Eagles Nest.

And we will congradulate you with a handshake and a pat on the back for a job well done not a tackle and assault. But back to reality. Bucs are not going to win at the Eagles nest so it won't matter. You won't have any reason to rush our field.

Many said it couldn't be done but our Eagles did it and we couldn't be more proud. The team, the refs and even the ghost's of Trousdale past could not defeat the Eagles tonight. What a great crowd Signal brought to the game. Looked like 2500 on the Signal side maybe a similar number on the TC side including the fence walkers. The whole Signal Mountain Community should be proud of what took place today on the Mountain and at the Creekbank. It was a wonderful atmosphere for a football game and one I hope to never forget. Really disappointed that we didn't get to shake hands after the game and congratulate the teams as we normally do. Would have loved to hear the Coaches comments after the big win. Bring on Boyd. It appears there are not many on here pulling for Signal Mountain or giving us much of a chance. There are however, a bunch of people from SM who believe the Eagles can and will win. Many are coming to make believers out of you. Go Eagles

Looks like we are the underdogs in this one and I wouldn't have it any other way. It makes the taste of victory that much sweeter. The Eagles have left the nest and are flying high. The boys look focused and ready to play. Look out Jackets, Were coming to burn out your nest. Thanks for all the fuel you have supplied this week.
