It was obvious by the 4th Qtr that they were not use to that "smash-mouth" style of play. They were exhausted and our backs were just rolling right over them. We had a good mix on offense in the first half. I agree with you about Tandy. I got nervous every time he touched the ball!!

I will be there early for the tailgate and I hope some Oakland Dogs make the trip also!! I have heard they have a record setting return guy that I hope we avoid at all cost! I think the boys will bounce back from the lose and be focused as ever. I was reminded yesterday that the 08 team lost in week 8 to a then district team and by the score of 17-14. If I was not heading to KY, I would have to see this one. It should be a great game. Having seen both, I honestly can't pick a favorite. BUT Blackmans QB will definitely have to step-up once again for the Blaze to get the W.

Great game to the Blackman squad. I think it was Blazallthewaze who said The QB play would tell the difference for you guys to get the victory and it turned out to be true. As far as containing Mathers, I will say they did. He got 71 yards on one play so it took 21 carries for him to get those other 50 or so yards. Their QB deserves a big high-five!! Good job

They are all beatable...that goes without saying. Sounds like you didn't think your team had a chance before you watched the game film??? It should/will be a good game. This will be the first game back for one of the players and I hear he his chomping at the bit to get back out there!! Go "O"

Just wanted to say to the LaVergne Freshman team....Class Act!! Last night, after such a tough game, to come to the Oakland sideline to acknowledge the injured Patriot. That act did not go unnoticed by the Patriot fans!!! People may say what they want about LaVergne but that gesture tells me that someone in that program is doing something right!!
