  1. Congratulations to the Hendersonville Commandos for getting their 5th state championship, to keep the tradition of excellence alive. The hard work put in by Coach Plummer and his players really payed off. Alot of credit to the Centennial team, for putting in a great effort this year also.
  2. Psh, bearden was completely and totally outplayed, they were not even same league as hendersonville. Hville has injuries of their own, so your excuses are completely and utterly pathetic.
  3. No one is talking because I don't think the website is working right. You can't just type in coacht.com in the address bar, so some people don't want to bother if yet think the site is down
  4. im pretty sure jp2 plays mccallie, not cbhs
  5. Predict Farragut, Centennial, Hendersonville and Collierville will advance Collierville over Bearden? Thats bold.. But i hope so!
  6. The Hendersonville vs Farragut match last year really was like the unofficial state championship match. The difference came from a quickstart that suprised everyone, including the sideline referee who missed the offside call. But it really was a great game otherwise.
  7. Please help cheer on Hendersonville, as they go on to state tournament for the 7th straight year... Make our district proud! They play Riverdale at 5pm on Tuesday in the state quarterfinals
  8. Either way, i'd say its been quite a long time since another team has tasted success in this district, other than the mighty Commandos..
  9. This years tourny looks very promising this year. The favorite to win is most likely Hendersonville, simply because of their past success (has won the district 11 of the past 12 years). But Station Camp is really putting their work in and has proven that there is more than one team in this district. So these 2 teams are the clear favorites for me. Both of them also have some injuries and have a chance to be upset also. How do you think it will play out?
  10. Predict the winner of your respective districts..
  11. Even tho hendersonville soccer and baseball have games at home against station camp at 7pm... i expect the Commando faithful to come out in droves as usual for big games. Big crowd and a hostile atmosphere should give the commandos some juice to get the job done
  12. Hendersonville 3 - McMinn County 1 (Saturday night) - FUN game to watch At halftime they recognized the 1980 team, which was the first Hendersonville Soccer team that layed the foundations for this proud program. The team went on to become the first ever public school to win the soccer state championship, in 1983. A big thanks to them..
  13. Yeah but Portland also lost to White House 2-0, so therefore they wouldnt even be in my top 100 if you ask me
  14. Most people on this board talk about A/AA teams for some reason. But it should be a great tournament
  15. how is the district shaping up so far?
  16. Probably because Hendersonville hardly ever loses a game where they are just downright outplayed.. They are 7-2 and neither of the two games they lost were not because they were outplayed. I personally think the Portland game was just due to it being the first game of the season and not being prepared. And the only difference in the Bearden game was a truly horrible penalty call by the referee. So it doesnt look much like excuses, but more like legitimate reasons as to why they lost.. But by the looks of it, Hendersonville continues to win games, so you might not have to worry about any excuses for awhile
  17. Yeah, i was in attendance. Knox West is highly overrated and is in no way a state contender. Not to be offensive, but being shutout 4-0 to Gallatin and 2-0 to Portland, is not something i would expect from a team expected to compete in the state tourney. *Not trying to dig on Gtown or Portland, but lets be honest here...
  18. I think after seeing Knox west lose to GALLATIN 4-0 today they definitely wouldn't be in my top 10!! Actually, they wouldn't even be in my top 20 after seeing that
  19. Britte Underwood, Hendersonville. Hes up there difinitely
  20. On another note, Hville bounces back as expected with a 5-0 win over Beech. Any other results from this week?
  21. Yeah, you should drop them so you dont get beat again..
  22. I almost feel bad for Portland... because now they have a target on their back and have somewhat lost their 'underdog' status already. Every quality opponent that is scheduled to play Portland now is going to take them seriously just because they nabbed one against the Big Brother from this area. The underdog role can really help a team out throughout the season and catch good teams by suprise... but people know now, that portland may not be the greatest team around, but youll forsure want to take them seriously *On another note, knowing the Hendersonville program and what is expected of them, i fully expect them to bounce back very quickly. Im going to make a trip down to Hville on Tuesday and see how they respond against Beech in another district game.
  23. Leeds United also beat Manchester United earlier this year in the F.A. cup, upsets happen alot... while i credit Portland for the victory, lets would not start lebeling them as a state contender please.
