This will be Lancaster's fifth year of football. They have had pretty competitive teams so far but this is a major rebuilding year. we lost 9 seniors off of a 25 man team, and most started both ways, plus their QB transferred to Father Ryan and is starting for them. plus another player going to smyrna and playing for them. They were going to join the TSSAA a few years back but the heads of the school decided it wouldn't be the best option at that time. they will eventually join.

Wow didn't see that coming. It seems like RBS is still stuck in a loosing mindset, cant seem to win these games that could change the program.

I think the knights woulda given y'all a serious game last year but they are 1-4 and I dont see them winning anymore games this year. 55-13 Boyd.

I'd like to see RBS win, but this will be a close game and i just dont think red boiling springs will pull it off. 21-24 Clay

They are a boarding school from somewhere in east tn. They are Div II A in all sports but football, They played in that Div. last year in football but went freelance again for some reason this year.

Well i guess we'll have to wait and see, sure hope you're wrong. Lancaster will play to the last whistle and ill be praying for a miracle

Lancaster usually has 25-30, but this year i dont even think they have that many... should be interesting

First off, football builds young men both mentally and physically and teaches many life skills, so there is no reason to drop a team for its level of play. As long as you get to pad up against another team their is no reason to drop anything other than your crapy, belittling, attitude. Secondly, how could you not consider Webb,ECS, and FRA serious? they all have strong teams and play-up from their divisions every year. DA and DCA are always strong too even though they dont usually play up as much. I hope Ezell upsets you preps at ensworth... ...

Does webb play any D2-AA teams this year?

I completely agree that they need to move up, but they did play about every 5a school in knoxville including catholic. so give em props for that.

Does Webb play any D2aa teams this year? they haven't really played any with the Blance brothers, I'd like to see them against Ensworth or Brentwood Academy. Any one have their schedule?

To me they just seemed a far shot from the team of last year. Did't really seem to dominate anypart of the game, but give em props for somehow scoring when they needed to. An they only beat southern baptist to get to to the semi finals because they seeded so well for beating Riverside,MJCA,Ezell, and SAS haha. The schedule itself was pretty weak overall other than DCA and Webb. Also i think Webb will be even better this year because their new ,but already good, Oline will have more experience, plus the brothers will be better as well. I see them dominating and even keeping the Maryville game close

Yes i think they do plan on getting back in, in the next couple of years, meantime Coach Butler has the team going to florida to play for some national tournament title. haha yes thats probably it. I know its in Kentucky. Dont know how bigtime they are though. But back to topic, DCA didn't even beat a down Davidson last year....really dont see anyone coming close to Webb....again, sadly. I went to the championship game with St.george...42-7? that aint even right

Dansby got a full ride to Maury state. @D2A our contracts ran out with Ezell, Davidson and Webb. Know we wanted them all back but Ezell is just plain scared an Webb an Davidson musta wanted to spend their non-league games on Bigger fish lol

Not really sure at this point, but pretty sure they have East Hamilton, Westwood, Zion and DCA. Coach Butler was looking to pick up some local 1a's like Eagleville and MTCS but not sure if he got them though. Really surprised Ezell wouldn't schedule us, thought that had the making's of a rivalry because of our proximity.

Without #1 and number #10? I think they will still be competitive just because they are a good program and well coached, but i dont think they will do quite as well this year. Also does anyone have any D2a schedules they can post?

Can't wait to see how the DA vs Webb works out, and im pretty excited to see how St.andrews does in 8 man as well, hope they can turn over a new leaf.

Hmmm I had heard that they were sophomores but looked up the roster an you are right... Ezell is toast this year

Thanks D2A excellent stuff. I think it will be a dog fight between Ezell and Davidson for 4th, Ezell is returning #10 and #33 both playmakers even if a little small/young.And Davidson's O-line was tiny last year, But other than that i completely agree. Should be a great season.

Webb looks to be strong again but how are the other teams going to stack up? who lost the most starters? Who has a bunch of returners?

lets hope one pops up soon hahaha
