Alcoa announced they are playing a home/away game with Blackmon next two seasons. Wonder what that does to the Alcoa/Greeneville rumors?

Usually you banter back with something about Greeneville's "weak" schedule. Funny how things change when stats are thrown out.

It's a shame Greeneville couldn't get Alcoa on the schedule the last two seasons. Those would've been some games to see. Oh well...

Those last two middle school games have been extremely close. The only two losses GMS has suffered in the last two seasons. I expect the next few seasons, after this year, the games between Greeneville and Betsy should be dandys. Just like it should be. Two hard-nosed rivals going at it. I honestly could see the winner of the second meeting year in and year out representing the east in the state championship game.

I hate the Freshmen team gave up the late TD, but I did see some good things from them. Give them another year in this program and in the weight room and watch out. The Devils aren’t going away anytime soon.

Ballard only played in in the first quarter. 5 for 5 with 5 TD’s. Over 200 yards. But I’m sure that will be misconstrued as padding stats.

I find this funny, because Anderson County is playing an 0-5 team this week too.

I don't get it Domin18, you lost to Greeneville last year, plain and simple. And until you beat them, you have nothing to say, at all! Greeneville fans can talk because they won, plain and simple.

And Anderson County has given up more points than that in each game but one!

I have said on here before I hope AC beats Betsy (even apologized to my Cyclone friends) so there aren't any excuses When Greeneville wins. Theory busted.

I can’t wait for this one. Probably the only game left on Greeneville’s regular season schedule that is going to be worth watching. I’ll give my score prediction closer to the game. As for now I’ll just sit back and read with pleasure.

The starters were out with over 6:00 left in the 2nd quarter! I guess the Freshman playing in the 2nd half should just take a knee every play?

Conference game bro. Still a tougher conference than the one AC is in. And when Greeneville is expected to blow teams out, at least they’re doing it, unlike another team I know.

I actually hope you guys beat Elizabethton (sorry Betsy friends). I really want to hear the excuses this year after the Devils beats the Mavs in their own turf.

I’d be more worried about congratulating Elizabethton this year. Then the next week the Cyclones will be congratulating the Devils.

There's only 15 guys across the state that get a vote. I don't think Sanders is one of them. Fritz has done this for years, not just this week. He's given 1st place votes to many teams from East Tennessee, just not named Greeneville. Dobyns Bennett, Elizabethton, Cloudland have all received 1st place votes when they have not necessarily deserved it.

I love the direction this conversation went.

Fritz has always voted Betsy 1. I don’t think it has anything to do with jumping AC. That guy is the definition of homer.

Greeneville has been playing the game. A whole heck of a lot better than AC has been playing their game. The stats speak for themselves.

Chattanooga Christian and Chattanooga Central is pretty easy to get confused when scrolling through multiple schedules quickly. And I apologized and admitted I was wrong.

Same Science Hill team that was demolished by Greeneville.

I still think Betsy deserves the one vote before Anderson County does. However, anyone not voting for Greeneville right now as #1 is a moron.
