I understand that Union City and Humboldt are in 1a now, but I don't see how. I dont belive that they have ever been 1a or if they have, probably not recently. How many people live in each city anyways? I know that Ronnie Carter is trying to establish a fair and respected field towards each team, but I dont understand how these at least Union City is in 1a now. If they do win state, which is very likely, it will be hard for these smaller schools to accept it considering the size of the city. Im not hating on UC or Humboldt, im just saying that they should still be 2a, not in 1a where all the smaller schools are. Any opinions? Good luck to all.

its true but its sad to know that wayne co and culleoka are going to the state tourney

i would agree that warren is outstanding along with the rice kids and that dixon kid. should be a group to watch for as long as franks is still coaching when these young men get to high school. dont be like the class with coggins and miller quote from coach in wilson school in alabama "that class of 99 from wayne co. is the most overrated, underachieving group of seniors to come through that school

i guess that u could say that it is probably the new coach. ive seen wayne co play for the past 18 years and id have to say that if wayne co is smart, than they will keep him for years to come. wayne co needs to hold on to this guy or they may be seeing him leave for another school. gl to wayne co this season and all of dist 12a

why has wayne co improved so much over the past few years. they go from a below average team to a really good class 1 team in just a few years.
