Since this Junior class was 11-12 yrs old I've been saying they could go back to back their Junior & Senior years... Last year some people thought i was crazy saying that . But they've always been that talented and now they're playing with heart, teamwork & dedication.

Can't wait! Is Dekalb good? I don't remember playing them before...

Thanks for the kind and objective remarks Troll. Most of those you hung with were the one's I went to school with if I'm not mistaken and they are classy and definately Faithful fans. Every class to graduate TC in 91-99 saw at least one State Championship win while they were in High School You will find those faithful in nearly every age range in this county. It more than a tradition; it's a way of life around here. And it will continue for many more years to come. We now have pee wee football teams from 4-5yrs old and up!

That's right. Like Creasy said on the radio... This is 101 years of tradition and pride. Ain't no way the student body or Alumni are gonna let anyone disrespect on the Creekbank, let alone 3 year old school. As for the players, kudos to them for keeping the end of the game clean. BTW I say the tackle of the Eagle should get the Hammer Award of the night! Wish they'd had some kerosene to burn that flag but I guess tearing it up will have to suffice.

Y'all would've have certainly beat BB if you both played the same level of game that was played against us. How many Sr's are y'all losing this year? You may end up being the Champs next year lol

A guy who's team has, what, 11 Championships is gonna whine about the band playing? Maybe your opponents last night read your thread and got the defensive strategy of the season from you! Every game I've been to in recent years each team's band played the entire time the other team had the ball. I thought that was just part of it. *shrug* No biggie IMO. Your team doesn't have thier head in the game if that can distract them that much.

That will change on Saturday brother. NO Change Reaction....Mckenzie still the best team we played all year. McKenzie was DEFINATELY a tougher D by far. Every yard was hard fought for against them. I've never been that nervous at a ballgame as against McKenzie and we were in the lead about the whole game. BB was tough but not that tough.

The way the TC fans exaggerate themselves, they'll tell us this is really a blizzard No excuses or exagerations here. I just know that Cookeville is on the plateau, whereas we are not. They generally always get more snow beccause of the added elevation. Just curious if they got the 1-3 inces that was called for on the plateau.

Absolutely. I don't think I've ever hear that football field that quiet. And I believe the McKenzie boys went down on one knee even before ours did. Real class. Heck of a game for both teams!
