  2. I wasn't going to get on here and say this unless this match was brought up. Well this match has been brought up now. Clarksville has 3 legitimate losses this year to Father Ryan, Brentwood and Independence. The loss to MBA on Tuesday night was the worst case of home cooking by a referee that I've ever seen and I've experienced wrestling all over this country. I do not know the referees name but he was awful. It wasn't that he didn't know what he was doing, he knew exactly what he was doing. Clarksville had to pin the MBA guys multiple times in the match to ever get the fall. Jordan had Bellet pinned and the whole gym knew it, but this kid was protected. My son Chad had the other Bellett pinned also, everyone knew it and it still wasn't called. Chad still got the minor win but not the pin he deserved. Another bs locking hands call in the 119 match with 2 seconds left, I could go on and on. Just these three calls turned the match. Brandon Isbell and Ren Baggett had to pin their guys multiple times. This referee should never be allowed to call an MBA match again, especially one that is important. It was clear that he let emotions get in the way of doing his job. I know someone will respond by saying you should beat a team so bad that you take the referee out of the picture, but some matches are going to be close. This match should have been won by Clarksville. Others may get on here and say you shouldn't complain unless you've worn the stripes. Well I plan on wearing stripes after my two older boys graduate, unless I'm blackballed because of this post. I'm too busy now with work and coaching a kids wrestling club. The pins by Clarksville were obvious. Just so no one throws the anonymous crack back at me either, my name is David Isbell. I normally just get on here and ask questions, share information and accasionally bust someones chops but I'll complain this time because this ref was horrible. Sorry for the book but I had to get this off my chest. So with all this said what was your thoughts on the jordon turbo smith match at the brentwood tourney?
  3. RMC aka MR Collins Hill I agree with you on this . Watsons streak got helped a li bit with the fact he was injured and didnt get to wrestle when Baylor made the trip North a couple weeks ago. No way to know for sure, he is an outstanding wrestler and will go down as one of the best to ever wrestle in OUR STATE, but he would have been tested. Is he wrestling in the Slam this weekend, there will be some talent there from what I have read ? Also the match up of TJ Duncan @ 152 with the traveling ATL kid will be a good one if they go at it.

  8. I think this one will be different, just not what your looking for Hrdcrwrestler... My thinking is Blake Thomas (Brentwood)/Grayson Mullin (Notre Dame) matchup for 1st/2nd, with Nick Maxwell (Karns) vs Jericho Crutcher (The Bradley Bears) for 3rd/4th place Think that because Maxwell won this weekend its funny he is on here as always tooting his own sons horn (big suprise huh) Maxwell @ 112 will suffer from trying to make weight and get upset or miss weight the day of finals . 125 Cambell Lewis will replace one of those guys. Woods or Jordan neither will be in finals. Also think that Toon will be there @ 215 vs Croy.
  9. Owls 45 Trojans 26 somebody texted me the score but aint got no details on it fatasac you got any information

  17. From reading online I agree with wrestle90 some teams look better than expected; some just not what people expected and "They are who we think they are "(Baylor 12 in finals @ K town Tourney)
  18. Everyone seems high on Soddy but if I remember correctly there were several injured (or otherwise ineligible) wrestlers that were going to be out until late in the season. If that is the case, it would make sense that they are ranked lower for now. I am sure when the wrestlers returned that they would climb up the rankings. G HOUSE The Lewis kid is supposed to be injured with a shoulder, but ineligible ? Who on there team is ineligible and why ;transfers, grades ? share you knowledge with others agree with you on the tier theory though
  19. wich ones do you see wrestle90 ??? heres where they were at the end last year for comparison [ b]by ghouse » Mon Feb 16, 2009 6:21 pm [/b] On the eve of the traditional tournament, Baylor's Red Raiders remain No. 1 in the Tennessee High School Wrestling Poll.
