Scott's JV played them last season and all but the seniors played. Scott was up 12-0 with less than 2 minutes ran off the clock in the 1st quarter. Then they put in the freshmen and played a good game with them that ended with a 1 yard loss on the goalline that won stone the game like 28-24. The biggest advantage stone will have is that nobody knows about their schemes or anything like that. So only time will tell what happens.

this is what ive got to say about scott high. we dont know what our record will be. but im sure it will be an improvement from the past few years. this highlander team ,unlike the past. has heart, we're going to play to win. we dont have a wesley smith to relie on. its going to take a team effort to win in this region and we are playing like a team for the first time since ive been a highlander. im not going to trash talk the other teams in the region. this is the most talented region in tennessee and we've seen what happens when we talk trash. we have the talent to beat anybody in this region but it's going to take heart, disipline, and desire to do it. all im going to say is that we shouldnt be looked over. and yea those are some talented teams but over the past years in the blue cross bowl the east has dominated the middle and west.

I agree 100% about how ae isn't out, but sc is just gettin started. Im not sayin this because im a sc fan either. Im a alcoa/maryville fan. Ive watched both of these teams play at least 2 games a peice. Scott is defintly a different team from last year. ae is as well, but sc has inproved and ae has unforntally deproved. Both teams are hungry for a region win (the first region game for sc). Scott County will be packed garenteed. I need directions to sc. ive read the posts about these 2 in games for the past couple of years and i dont want to miss this one. (Scott county has scored more points on ae the past couple of years than any other team conbined.)I pick: scott-28 ae-13 GO TORNADOES & REBELS!!!!!!!!!

I was just curious who you all think will be the top players of this region. This will be an exciting region to watch with some mouth-smackin kids playing in it. Just to mention a few: Tyrone Cobb (FHS), Antiono Hamilton (FHS), Chad Johnson (Kingston), Wesley Smith (SHS) I know there is more "play-makers" out there, so lets hear what the rest of you think and have to say.

i think that scott sould take this one easy, only if wilson and clarbon hit that 3's and miller takes it to the hoop with good layups. And also if they hit their foulshots. By the way, who is this freshman #14 silcox boy ive been hearing about. Is he any good.

I have put some thought into this, 1. fulton 2. ac 3. ae 4.scott 5. catholic 6. kingston 7. livingston Livingston had a good team compared to the region they were in in 2004. But now there in for a rude awaking. THis is the toughest region is the state! With no disrespect to livingston.
