  1. What is the region looking like? 7 and 8-AAA? What will happen with upset minded teams such as Tullahoma, Lavergne, and Lawrence County? Don't know much about 7-AAA. I am a 8-AAA member. So i'd like to know how the region will probably shape out. And potential state tourney contenders, if any.
  2. Well, I have seen a whole lot of games. I guess I have just always saw teams play where the coaches shake each others hand ALONG with the opposing players hands, until last night of course. The district tournament is in Columbia.
  3. Well there IS a #50 on Shelbyville that is about 6'6 or 6'7 named Seth Jarrel. So you just made yourself look real smart. Maybe writing "Pluck the Eagles" was unneccessary. But Shelbyville's student section was writing and calling #10 "Roids" and they drew a picture of a DUCK and put #14's number on it saying he has a big nose. Are you saying that is necessary, because those 2 incidents happened before the "Pluck the Eagles" one. LCHS fans may have been somewhat in the way of the lockerroom, but even if they were, it doesn't give Coach Thomas a right to push the little cheerleader out of his way (accidental or not)(which i believe he did not do it on purpose. i believe he was just frustrated and she just happened to be there in his way). And it doesn't give Emmanuel Andrews the right to sucker punch a fan by getting called a silly name. I mean really, if he cant take the heat then stay off the court. It's that simple. I do agree with ya'll that it was wrong for the LCHS students to storm the court. I agree with that. That shouldn't have happened. But everytime I have watched the handshake through the line, I have always seen the head coach shake the PLAYERS hands, not just the coaches. Yes, Coach Thomas did shake Coach Clark's hand. I watched that. But he took no time whatsoever to consider shaking the players hands. That is very unsportsmanlike. EVEN YOUR OWN SHELBYVILLE FANS ARE SAYING COACH THOMAS AND EMMANUEL ANDREWS DID WRONG!! So why can't you just face the facts that they were wrong in what they did. Because obviously everybody from LCHS is saying that they did do wrong by storming the court. So why can't ya'll just do the same and face the facts? Please. I'm not being a smart alec. I'm just stating the truth.
  4. Bball rocks, he did succeed in getting them off of the court. Because they were in the stands when E-man charged into them. I really don't understand why you cant just admit the coach pushed the cheerleader and Emmanuel came into the stands and threw the first punch since there were 2 or 3 or maybe even 4 Shelbyville fans say that that exact stuff happened the exact same way. You should look it up sometime... it will give you more insight about what happened. Because when a Shelbyville person or persons admits that their players, coaches, team was wrong then their ACTUALLY TRULY WRONG since S'ville people never admit their wrong.
  5. He was getting all of the students off of the court and once he did he saw Coach Thomas push the cheerleader. Not a smart alec comment or anything. Just don't know another way to say it.
  6. I thought this forum was about LCHS vs. SCHS and the fight that took place afterwards. Not who likes who in college football.
  7. Bballrocks, apparently your eyes are filled with sawdust because i specifically said 10 minutes ago that it was wrong for the LC fans to storm the court, but our SRO did make them get off. How hard is that to understand?
  8. Bballrocks, I agree with you on the 2nd paragraph. Sometimes a coach is defending his players when he gets a technical. But what they were saying about the lead by example is him getting the technical AFTER the game, and then pushing the cheerleader. Thats what they meant. But i understand where you are coming from in the 2nd paragraph.

  10. What in the world are you talking about? Trying to end the career of a great athlete? What career has he ahead of him? He can't even pass high school. He cant even take the pressure of a HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT SECTION, much less a college student section that consists of 200 people screaming. What are we being naive about? Our student section calls him "Jimmy", from the movie 'The Ringer'. Players get called way worse names than "Jimmy". Nobody tossed water on any of the Shelbyville players. Who would want to waste water on them? And if you didnt see any Shelbyville players go into the stands then you need to be making your way to the eye doctor to get those eyes checked. The last time i checked, student sections are supposed to yell at the opposing team and try their best to get into their head, and if the players can't handle it then they shouldn't be playing basketball at the AAA level if any level at all. Whether Coach Thomas pushed the cheerleader down on purpose or not, he still pushed her. And that is called something like "ASSAULT". You apparently have alot of sawdust in your eyes since you couldn't see the coach push the cheerleader and E-man and teammates go into the stands.
  11. Jeff, I actually agree with you on most of this. For once lol. I agree they shouldn't have stormed the court and I'm from Lawrence County. But our SRO officer did make them get off. But at least we see eye to eye on most of this.
  12. No. That was Deonte Twilley. And it was last year in the district semifinals. He graduated. Thanks. Maybe they're related. You're welcome. Haha.
  13. No. That was Deonte Twilley. And it was last year in the district semifinals. He graduated.
  14. The reason he's getting to play is because their administraion does anything to win. It is apparently alright to hit an opposing teams student section member according to the principal since he called LC fans "WHITE TRASH"!
  15. I remember. Brad Daniel was the player i believe. That is really sad. And very pathetic on the part of Shelbyville.
  16. Yes. The cheerleader is okay. She was scared to death she said. She said the Shelbyville coach PUSHED HER.. DOES EVERYBODY UNDERSTAND WHAT PUSHED MEANS. Even you randymc. The coach pushed the cheerleader. And trust me, she is not one to cause any trouble to anybody.
  17. Yeah, it is totally Lawrence County's fault that Shelbyville's coach pushed down a 5 foot 95 pound cheerleader down. And it is totally Lawrence County's fault that Mr. All-American Andrews jumped into our crowd and started throwing punches FIRST!! Yeah that sounds like Lawrence County's fault genius.
  18. I can admit that from the Shelbyville standpoint that some things could have been handled differently. Can ANYONE from Lawrence County admit that their students were ON THE COURT !!! ??? Can anyone from Lawrence County admit that their student STORMED THE COURT !!! ??? Can anyone from Lawrence County admit that they had NO ADMINISTRATION THERE TO CONTROL THEIR STUDENTS !!! ??? Can you??? Yes. Our students stormed the court after a victory (which our students did 2 years ago after a buzzer beater win at Columbia and nothing like this came close to happening). Yes, I will admit that. Then the Shelbyville administration made them get off. Our students went and stood back in the bleachers where they had been the entire game and Shelbyville's coach stormed off (only shaking our Coach's hand) and pushed one of our cheerleaders. Accidental or not, you dont push a girl like that. Our SRO officer, which is obviously a cop, confronted their coach about it (which is what a cop should do when a GROWN MAN pushes a TEENAGE GIRL, who is 5 foot nothing and like 90 pounds); therefore, our student section started the chant "get him dorning" and the Shelbyville players started jawwing with our students, resulting in Emmanuel Andrews coming into our crowd and throwing punches (one connected with a fan and split his eyebrow open) and most his teammates followed him, which started a brawl. Thankfully Lawrence County's players were already in the lockerroom. Student sections are going to yell at the opposing team, and if you cant handle the pressure then you shouldnt be playing. I will admit our student section was wrong by storming the court. BUT it is not their fault that Shelbyville players entered our crowd and started throwing punches. Everybody knows the true story that Shelbyville started the brawl by the Mr. McDonald All-American coming into our crowd throwing fists. On top of it all, the Principal calls Lawrence County "white trash"? It just sounds like some people are just sore losers and were real upset that Lawrence County beat Shelbyville.

  20. Basketballfan44, I'm still wondering who the twins from lawrence county are?
  21. Who are the twins from Lawrence County? What are they're numbers?
  22. I would have to say Lawrence County. Were picked to finish last in their region, not winning a game. End up beating every team in their region besides Columbia by at least 20 points. Got to their first play-off game in over 20 years. Got their first play-off win in HISTORY. Unbelievable season by the Wildcats.
  23. I only know a couple from around: Tra'darius Goff - Columbia - RB, LB - Senior Trent Garland - Lawrence County - RB, CB - Senior
