I graduated from Eagleville. Grew up going to games in Murfreesboro. I've been blessed to be around great basketball my entire life.

Unfortunately the players have to suffer for this also.. But, I'm glad the TSSAA did something & hopefully this never happens again.

I was born & raised & still live in RUCO... & have been in both of these gyms SEVERAL times. So your point is mute there.... And I PROMISE you, the fans sitting behind me booing were Smyrna fans - they were actually yelling and booing at their own coach. I'll finish this by saying, I am now the biggest Oakland/Blackman fan there is and I hope those are the two teams representing this district at the State Tournament.

Funny, I heard someone that's very close with Coach Barrett telling parents around me, "We know we can beat any of the teams in the other region so it doesn't matter if we win."

I guess if I were a parent whose daughter took place in what happened, I'd probably come up with 236 excuses also.

If you can't win your region you don't deserve a shot at a state championship. KY does it best. 16 regions - 16 state tournament teams.

I don't recall Smyrna pulling their starters first.. They were booing both coaches and their complete disrespect for the game.

No, I was there...... Smyrna fans were the loudest "boo-ers" there were Riverdale fans not happy about it either. Specifically a parent that was sitting right next to me.

I'm taking a split in the Region 5A tourney. Both districts will have their 1 & 2 seeds advance.

Haven't seen Boggs since before her injury... Will hopefully get to see her during Region Tourney.

You're the only one coming in here trying to ruffle feathers..... You really don't want to hear my opinion.. After looking at the list, I have watched EVERY player on this list play this season. And as a completely unbiased opinion, I believe there were serious snubs.

A- Madison Heckert (West Carroll) Team is 27-0 now, averaging a double-double, scored her 1,000th point last night. AA- Kayla Marosites (Elizabethton) Team is 25-0… Defending state champ.. 45 straight wins.. Not much more I need to say. AAA- Crystal Dangerfield (Blackman) or Brandi Beasley (Ridgeway) Dangerfield has lead the defending national champions to a 23-2 record against top national competition. Beasley has lead her team to a 20-0 record.. Lost to Blackman in state championship last year.

I honestly wasn't very surprised by Moore Co winning tonight. They really out played Forrest completely. Coaching and player effort made a big difference in this one. & I don't see any more upsets happening. Could be 2 good games in the next round tho!
