This has gone too far Asiatic - for what I believe to be an adult from some of your other posts - for you to be calling out a high school kid who didn't make the State Tournament is childish. What is the match in question with the water bottle incident? I do not remember that one.

Mid-Tennessee (Williamson County Schools) did a great job hosting the Duals at the Ag Expo. It sure was a long expanse, but it worked. I hope to see it there again. I'm sure teams from the Western part of the state enjoyed a shorter trip to Duals.

If you are and want some good pub food, check out McCreary's Pub in downtown Franklin on Main Street. I like dead horses, ok. Sorry to throw a small grenade BC's way. Only looking at their schedule with on D11 schools on there. I do have respect for them because they have destroyed most of the teams they met and I don't think they lost. So, they would have to be a hands-on favorite. Ravenwood is tough, though and could pull an upset. I am looking forward to some Cordova/BC matches early on. I am getting ready to head towards the Ag Center (I have seen graduation there and it should be a good venue for the Duals).

I figured he was from one of those 2 Catholic schools. 2lbleg, I personally think you are wrong not to believe that private schools do not recruit kids from public schools to play sports for them. There are kids who cannot afford tuition and would be in a public school except for the fact that they are amazing at their respective sport and private schools can waive the tuition. If it were my school who could get that player and help him in his academics, I would want them to do that. I could not give you a name, either, of a student on an active roster who that has happened to but am sure that it is out there.

Here is to MBA or McCallie winning the D2 tournament and a Williamson County team winning the D1 tournament just to shut up IHSV (CBHS?).

I don't blame private schools for recruiting it if it means that they can have great teams. I would expect someone from CBHS to say they don't recruit. Heck, I know Public schools that recruit. What's the big deal? Bradley? They do look a little weak if you look at their schedule but they have more than half of their team ranked. It's going to be hard for anyone to beat them this year. D2, I would like to see McCallie win it. Here's a team that only lost by a couple to Baylor.
