I believe that Halls will also hammer Bearden. (I think that Halls, Powell, or Anderson County would), but i believe that Farragut will come out on top in their regional matchup strictly because of Pfeifer on the mound in a regional game. He is 37-3 in his high school career and knows how to get it done no matter how Powell is hitting it.

I am thinking that Durand will throw against the winner of Karns and Oak Ridge if they beat Clinton.. I believe Williams will throw championship. Should be a great tournament!!!!

Anderson County shuts out in county rival Clinton tonight 8 to 0. Highlights of Game:: Brycen Roberts: 2 HR,(16 i think on the year) Taylor Durand: CG, 0 Runs, 2 Hits Congrats to A.C. for securing the 2 seed in the district tourny. Very many people doubted you guys this year including myself, way to go and good luck in the tourny and beyond!!!

Yes Halls is very deep and has one of the best teams around.. A.C. also does have a solid 1-2 combo and they both will be back next year one of them will be a senior next year (Williams) and one will just be a Junior (Durand). But in my opinion those are the top 2 teams in that district.

Who do you think will be a few of them this year... I am from the upper part of east Tennessee and know of a couple in the area (Brycen Roberts, Colby Skene, Taylor Durand, Drake Owenby, Jake West) to name a few that have a good chance at this award. What do you think??

congrats to the kid for this accomplishment.. It seems farragut and anderson county are the main 2 HR hitting teams this year with A.C. having over 30 total as a team as of now..

This was indeed a great game all around. Although the way it ended up was probably as close as to good as it could have been. Both teams did not hit it very well but Anderson County did hit better than Powell. The pitching matchup was about even where Downs could have went with Tanner Williams or Taylor Durand with Williams having a whole weeks rest. Owenby also pitched a heck of a game. I was hoping to see 2 sophomores battle it out but the pitching matchup was great.

This was a great pitching matchup between the two teams with Tanner Williams from A.C. going against Drake Owenby from Powell. It was 3 to 0 until the bottom of the 7th when Tanner Williams ran out of gas. Taylor Durand who should be starting Wednesday had to come in for the last few outs. Owenby pitched a pretty good game with only very few mistakes. Wednesday should be a good matchup as well.

What are your predictions on this series????

The kid is also a SOPHOMORE...we are comparing him to some great senior pitchers that have already done many things in their careers... But i am pretty sure that the kid can definitely be at that potential in only a matter of time.

The main reason why halls won this game was because of their bats backing up their pitcher. It seemed everytime halls had runners on they found a way to get them in by either bunting or hitting groundballs to opposite field. Although, I would not consider it as Durand getting "rocked". He gave up 6 runs while 3 were unearned occuring in the 3rd inning and also only 6 hits. But overall from where i was sitting this was a great game. Halls executed when they had to.

Anderson County is looking great right now....15 and 2

This matchup is looking to be a great showdown between the 2 district rivals. With all of Halls depth and strong sticks, Anderson County looks to match up with them with 2 great southpaws and some solid sticks... Anderson County is at 15-2 while Halls is at 12-1..... Who do you think takes the series???

all this hype on the kid sayin that he is a D1 prospect but did he even pitch last year at the varisty level?? ive heard mid 80s on the kid but saw him pitch his last outing and was barely throwing 81-82 have to mention phiefer from farragut already committed to vandy.. gibbs has 2 lefties schropshier and willis(etsu signee)..also have to mention dino from science hill prob the best pitcher in the state any class this must have been an off game for him ive seen the kid throw harder than that? which game are you talking about? against hardin valley i heard he was around 84-85?

This is a very solid district with Halls, Powell, Anderson County, Campbell Co., Hardin Valley, Central, Clinton, and Oak Ridge. What are your predictions?? Halls and Powell are probably the favors but Anderson County is surprising very many teams early???
