  1. Let's keep in mind that everything I say on here is comparing Science Hill to DB and pertains to football because when I logged on it told me this was a FOOTBALL board. SH will never be as good as DB. SH is a stepping stone to better opportunities. What is it with you guys? First you want to have a track meet instead of a football game and now you want to have a scholars bowl? Seems like to be so confident in your team yall wanna do anything but play football. Man I tell ya, soft as butter, them hilltoppers are.
  2. Clairvoyant? Nah it's pretty easy For everyone too see that Science Hill lurks in the shadows of a smaller school. Hope you didn't spend to much time looking that word up. I never questioned a decision made by a young man to better himself. I don't blame him I'd be out of there to. What I said was Science Hill will never be anything more than a stepping stone to something better, meaning that they will never be good enough. Look at your basketball boys, took the first flight out of there. Looks like along with being soft as butter y'all can't keep your hands out of it cause players just keep slipping away.
  3. I like the use of bullet points makes you look intelligent and organized....think I'll try it on for size. Here goes nothing: You will never be as good as DB no matter how much you improve. Spurrier hates everyone! JC Press......well they could use some renovation on the sports staff. Guess I've rendered a hilltopper speechless Ah think I'll leave those fancy bullet points to you city folk. And those cups on the fence are quite crafty aye?
  4. Well I've never one time mentioned that science hill was soft as butter, brought up the fact that you can't beat DB, or even mentioned that you hired a coach that also can't beat DB. I can see that you all are all excited because you think that this is the year that you finally beat DB but deep down inside you know that you will always be no better than 2nd best in the tri-cities. You lack fan support and can't even fill up your side of the stadium steve spurrier built for ya. The jc press is in love with you though, kudos on that achievement. Maybe y'all would be a little better if you could convince your players to stick around. Face it, science hill will never be anymore than a stepping stone to a better school. Ive never heard of anyone leaving DB to go to a private school.
  5. That's kind of the point of football isn't it? I mean everytime I stepped out on the field the coach said go out there and hit somebody. Never once did I hear go out there and see how quickly you can run through a pile of players. Speed has no effect on the game if you can't break the perimeter or muscle your way through the line. Science Hill can have all the speed in the world but if the running game is contained speed doesn't matter. They can have the fastest recievers in the world but if they are put on their butt coming off the line then speed doesn't matter. Ya'll keep your speed and I will keep my toughness cause football is not a boys game its a mans game. I'd say if I've got it figure right all you all will be able to talk about come friday night is how hard nosed and physical my team is. Hope your track stars show up to do hitting drills.
  6. If sh comes in thinking this will be a cake walk they will be in for a long night. Boone may not have the same speed and talent that sh does but they are a hungry team. They laid down against DB and got embarrassed, they came out with a chip on their shoulder against th where alot of people said they were overmatched. This game really doesn't matter anyway so Boone really has nothing to loose. They have pretty much locked up a playoff spot and are now playing for playoff seeding. A win against a #6 6a team will help the cause but doubt it will hurt it. Sh won't look as good in the playoff picture with a loss to a 5a team. So I say it's theirs to lose. I'm highly doubting sh is throwin a party cause they get to play Boone this week. It's anyone's game, we will see who shows up and who wants it more.
  7. A tenth of the offense DB has? I think you may be forgetting somebody.....Ty Ryans ring a bell? The best qb in the area but runs an offense a tenth of what DB runs? Eastman must be filling the air with good stuff these days.
  8. Yep pretty sure thats what I said. Pretty unbelievable huh? So unbelievable thats the score the last time Boone won.
  9. Ah Im sure Clark will throw a couple of eggs in the locker room at half time when he is trying to figure out how to stop Boones passing game and how to crack that hard nosed Boone defense.
  10. Washington county FFA has won more state titles then ur precious little Indians and the whole conference put together. And your precious little city school has an ag program to, which mind you has never beaten Boone at anything.
  11. Great all the Boone wimps wanna lay down and be stomped on I say 10 7 Boone. Roll up DB put em in a teepee blaze em!!
  12. Volunteer is always big but sadly most of the time that doesn't translate into talented. And you can't dock Boone very much for not being able to tackle ryans the kid is an elusive player and the best qb we will face all year. The Cherokee game showed just how good Boone is this year. They faced adversity and overcame. They proved that they can put points on the board and play good defense.
  13. Good win for Boone tonight. I think I might have seen a couple dollars slip up. Now on to volunteer.
  14. I have watched Boone play football for a long time and I can honestly say that I have never seen them turn anything into a dollar. Im telling ya nickel and dime, nickel and dime. If Cherokee doesn't have to ball they can't score. Its a pretty simple game plan. All ya gotta do is play keep away. If your looking for Boone to score quick and often and then give the ball back to Cherokee so they can do the same you'd be more satisfied staying home and watching preseason NFL games.
  15. I'm not sure that it will be that high scoring of a game. Elizabethon only had the ball one time in the first quarter and Boone likes to nickel and dime it's way down the field. Ball possession was the key to beating elizabethon and I don't see JJ changing the game plan that much for this one. If Boone can get the ball and manage to pick up first downs when needed and keep ryans off the field then this game shouldn't be a problem. Betsys defense was sucking air by the end of the first quarter and the offense really never got a breath of life. If Cherokee falls into the same rhythm as Betsy it might be a long night for the chiefs.
  16. If Science Hill cant put away the cyclones they may be in for a long season. One dimensional and not spectacular at the one dimension that they do have. Boone picked them off twice and the ball was kinda just thrown up for grabs. The run game came to life toward the end of the game but it was a little to late. Science Hill should run away early.....I hope for the sake of the conference anyway.
  17. How will this one go? Boone lost to elizabethon and cherokee last year to make for a long season. This year they managed to put away elizabethon but what will be the outcome of the chiefs?
  18. Cause they can't afford to put it on both sides.
  19. I'm sorry did I miss something? Where are you coaching at? Oh hmmm that's right your not. May want to get a couple of interviews lined up though, I hate to see ur expertise go to waste. Two quarterback system gives #7 a break rest from playing defense. Whereas #3 is not as good as 7 it keeps 7 fresh which serves a great purpose. Jenkins knows what he is doing that's why he is on the sidelines and you are in the stands. Better luck next time buddy....I guess not everyone can grasp the game.
  20. Vision your guess is as good as mine, both of boones qbs have the capability of being playmakers it's jus whether or not they step up. Littleton has a strong arm and the ability to run but he lacks the ability to make a good decision under pressure. Chandler has got good legs underneath him but doesn't throw the ball as well as Littleton. He also lacks the ability to make a decision under pressure. It will be interesting to see if either one of them steps up and claims a solid starting role. Sanders can be very effective if the O line stands strong. He is an elusive back that can make the plays but that line has got to block. This is a win that both teams need and should be a dog fight. I don't believe one team is any better then the other it will come down to who wants it more.
  21. Boone just took a beating from the best school in the area and theyve had a week to grow from it. It's time to lay down 5A supremacy.....I say Boone makes this 3 in a row.
  22. Dang cap you're jumping ship on ur vickings already? Ah what can ya expect from Bristol? Livin up to ur potential bud.
