  1. This should be McCallie's game. Does BB have a chance?
  2. Wasn't at the game but heard that the freshmen they've brought up have given them the offensive spark they were lacking earlier in the season.
  3. This should be McCallie's game. Does BB have a chance?
  4. Should be a good battle with MUS winning a close one....other predictions or insight?
  5. Thanks BigG for keeping us up to date on this game and all the best in your Thursday match.
  6. Does Alcoa stand a chance against Farragut?
  7. Predictions? I like Father Ryan in a close one.
  8. ECS 3 - 0 over Kingsbury
  9. That's what I'm thinking too based solely on their results against the only common opponent CBHS.
  10. Mc Callie wins 2-1 http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/2010 ... ips-irish/
  11. Who takes this one? Giving the edge to McCallie as they seem to have more momentum right now.
  12. And don't forget AAA Memphis Central which is 7-0-2 and handed White Station it's only loss, 3-1. They also tied a one loss Kingsbury team 1-1.
  13. Understood that's what I thought you were saying. I actually think the school enrollment whether AA or A has less to do with success than the # of club players a squad has.
  14. You are usually very good with your analysis. Can you explain what you mean by "dropping to the smaller private school division is kind of a joke" when it's the TSSAA that establishes the enrollment cut-offs for schools?
  15. Totally overlooked in Memphis, undefeted Central defeated previously undefeated White Station 3 - 1.
  16. This is a huge game. Both teams have a ton of strong club players, compared to many of the teams in the Memphis area. Sims, SIms, Schneider, Michalak, Parks for St. Georges vs Linn, Crockerell, Wilson, Gagnon, Van der voort for ECS. Both teams will hopefully have their full squads. ECS has more proven finishers, but that doesn't always guarantee a win. ECS's schedule has been very soft, with the exception of the White Station game (3-3 tie). Great come back for ECS. St. Georges has issues at keeper. The young man is playing well, but he is small and young. St. Georges has had a little toucher schedule thus far, 3-2 loss to Collierville, big win over Houston. WIn vs Briarcrest. Surprised they didn't beat Briarcrest worse (1-0) with all the players BCHS was missing in that game. Should be a great one!!!! Another big game tonight is MUS vs CBHS. ECS 3 St. George's 2
  17. In 2A it should be USN, JCS, St. George's and ECS, maybe USJ too at the top of the heap.
  18. Good assessment. Both teams had key players out. WS took the foot off the pedal at 3 - 0 and ECS made the adjustments in the attack necessary to tie it up. Expect Collierville, Cordova, Kingsbury and Houston out of D1 West and when it's all said and done St George's, JCS and ECS in D2A West with CBHS, MUS, Briarcrest in D2AA West.
  19. Jackson Pre-season tournament results: White Station 0 USJ 0 White Station 2 Dyersburg 1 White Station 1 ECS 0 ECS 3 USJ 0 ECS 2 Dyersburg 1
