  1. I totally agree with you. Things were much simpler then. But there were still some out there that cried and moaned when it was A, AA, AAA. Looks like you got lucky and avoided that 1990 massacre by Dewayne Harper. Now that double wing-T was tough. So what's up for Motown this year? Playoffs I hope. Yeah, in 89 we graduated 18 seniors that all started on offense or defense. That didn't leave much in the way of experience for the 90 group. Seems like we were always on the INFAMOUS bubble which caused us to be bumped up in 87 and 88. We had just come off a semi-final run in 86 and then had to play up. Don't know bout this year. I think it all depends on whether we can make some kind of attempt to pass the football this year. If not, could be more of the same as last year. I thought ya'll had some new flashcat coming in from Alabama to play?
  2. According to The Living Legend, Butchie has been accelerated to the sublime title of Living Legend status. . The Living Legend said so himself a couple of weeks back. I think it's state law or something.

  4. I love the new site. But when is it gonna be finished. May have a little money I want to lose in the "Jackets Nest Shop."
  5. we've prefered european kickers in recent years. while the germans boast stronger legs, we found that french kickers are quite adept at on-side kicking and a bit more accurate imo. although our best kicker, to date, was of filipino descent by way of phillidelphia. that cat had it all, power, accuracy, he even returned a botched snap 60 yds for a td on a punt attempt. he didn't get much blocking, but was quite elusive in the open field, to say the least. i've been researching scottland and galatin for talent, but can't seem to find them on the map. maybe we are spelling them wrong... There's Gotta Be A Violation In This Statement Somewhere! S-h-h-h!! Don't jinx our quest for 3 in a row.
  6. Thanks for the compliment on the signature. Guess I should have made it a little flashier. Well I suppose you are referring to Motown handing us our ****'s. Ya'll were definately a blemish on our 93 campaign. Irritates me every time I look at it(12-1) Tell you what's even worse is I lay my head down in Motown every night.
  7. Friday nights will be very special in Macon Co Even more special if ya'll are playing in November and December.
  8. fcs has been a good regular season foe and on our open dates we play up, in some form or another, the vast majority of the time. westmoreland/tc games throughout the 90's were always very competitive match-ups. unfortunatly, i can still remember the clint brown years vividly! westy had our number on more than a few occasions in the early to mid 90's. although, i don't know how much westmoreland would have affected those championship years. 96-99 were all tc though. regardless, we always made sure to go extra hard those weeks we were playing the eagles. again, Great Rivalry! The Clint Brown years were definitely special for Westy, other than that, nothing too special. but, Coach Kelley always had them prepared and hittin hard. He was a gritty player for sure. He reminded me of Micheal Mungle on TC's 90 championship run. Now he would knock your string loose.
  9. Beats the heck out of my two pair!!! Please tell.
  10. jeez louis, you are about green with envy. seems to me you just have an ax to grind. this is the second board not involving tc that you've jumped in on just to bash tc. tcstinger makes no reference to us competing in this region at all and you fire off that mouth. tc plays up to 3a and competes well and it's because we are avoiding 2a teams, tc plays in our designated classification and you mock our competion. what's your m.o. rookie? I was only wandering what Greenbriar was posting about on the Westmoreland thread. Scalded dog didn't have much more to say on the Smith County thread though. Well at least he isn't calling us liars, crazy and homers anymore. I guess the rest of the world is just crazy and he is the only one that is right. Whatever.
  11. 77 days 4 hours 10 minutes. I been juiced all year. Good luck throughout yalls season. Is #34 still playin for SC? He's family ya know. Playing fullback and had a good spring. Could play a lot next year. Thanks for the info. I haven't seen Cody in at least 10 years. Sounds like he's becoming quite a man and hopefully a beast in the backfield.

  14. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!!! Dead horse okay. You seem to take life a little too serious and see everything from a skew. Actually the original jab about Smith County going to 1A was a joke. You obviuosly cannot sense the humility embedded in the joke because if anything, it sheads the same light on Trousdale since we did move back to 1A. Wasn't trying to cause a fuss. Just seeing who I could rib a little . Guess I figured that out. Don't really appreciate the elementary namecalling either "scranus". I also apologize to any Smith county faithful i may have disrespected in the previous posts. Also, that name "scaldeddog" is so appropriate after snoballs reply to your post. Ouch!!!
  15. You tell'em Butchie . I can still get you that T.V.A. job if you want it. Milan would have drilled Trousdale County last year Can't if you don't score.
  16. You tell'em Butchie . I can still get you that T.V.A. job if you want it.
  17. Maybe true. I would say it was more like dodging Alcoa than those private schools. But a bonus in that deal was to get a chance to pound on the owls some. Man I love county rivalries.
  18. I submitted an email of what appears to be a complete listing of all Trousdale scores from 1922 to 1969. Hope this helps.
  19. You would do the same thing . Would you expect anything less from a redneck hoser from Trousdale County?
  20. gold balls? not to mention 5 teams beat them that year... to the other sc fans i apologize, i've taken a vow to be sweeter this year. and i know tcstinger threw the first jab, but glover can't stop posting about genitals, and well a man just has to defend those. anyways, as jules said in pulp fiction, "i'm trying to be the rightous man, ringo. but it's real hard..." Yeah Snoball, I bet those little fellars look all warm and fuzzy up there in the trophy case. I guess they have a trophy case . I bet one's the size of a turnip seed and the other one's a little bitty fellar though. Now please tell us all the big news, Glover is gonna run out of emoticorn. BTW Glover that was a great cut you gave.
  21. They ain't moving to 1A are they? We are not Trousdale Co. We don't stick our tail between our legs and run back down a division. Just so you can win a state title!!! Ouch. Well we did beat the 3A state champ that year. I know.. yall did too. But what do yall have to show for it?
  22. Hopefully November 26, 2010. Wouldn't That Be Sweet! not as sweet as us ending yalls season again, butchoser!!! If it's like 09 all we need is a safety or a field goal.
  23. LOL, Well IF He Ever Graces Me With His Presence Again? I Might Have To Have Him Clarify A Few Disdainful Remarks. But Knowing He's A True Hoser, I'd Not Doubt The Brunt Of Ya'lls Conversation. And TC, It's All Good. Hope To Meet You And SnoHoser, In The Future, Eh? Hopefully November 26, 2010.
